Based on years of experience, new treasures are usually used to maintain the lights, which means that the vehicle has reached its pre-set maintenance cycle, after which zero operations are performed to replace the system. The two mainstream zero methods that have been validated are set out below, and pre-operational recommendations are made to ensure that the vehicle is in a state of power outage and to avoid the disruption of system stability by error。
1 ️⃣ manual to zero operational step

Inserts the vehicle key into the ignition switch and rotates to the "on" block (the dashboard light is on but the engine does not start), pressing the "0. 0/set" button on the right side of the dashboard for approximately three seconds, to be released after displaying the " maintenance cycle reset " hint on the screen. At this point, press the button again and keep it for two seconds, the system will display the word "replace successful" and when the operation is complete, turn off the ignition switch. It should be noted that section 2023 and subsequent models need to be synchronized in the medium control screen “vehicle set-up-maintenance cycle” to avoid data not being synchronized。
2. Diagnosis to zero operational points

If manual operations are not effective or the vehicle is equipped with a multifunctional steering wheel, the obd diagnostic device can be used to connect the vehicle to the obd interface (located on the left side of the wheel). Select the " mass/odi" model system, select the "maintenance cycle replacement" feature after entering the dashboard module, and act as a reminder that the vehicle information is correct. Based on experience, the use of the original plant diagnostic device (e. G. Vas 6154) ensures a 100 per cent success rate and the third-party diagnostic device has to select the equipment to support the mqb platform to avoid operational failure due to agreement mismatches。
3 common attention

Vehicle battery voltage needs to be stabilized during operation (recommendation not less than 12v), and low voltage may cause delay or disruption of system response. If the maintenance lamp is activated again after zero, it will be necessary to check whether the maintenance project is fully implemented (e. G., fluid level of the oil, refilling of filter cores, etc.) or to contact shop 4s to check if the sensor is malfunctioning. In addition, section 2025, some of the new family models are required to confirm in the medium-controlled “vehicle status” that maintenance data have been updated to avoid the failure to synchronize leading to the alarm lights being activated again。
Upon completion of the above-mentioned operation, it is recommended to activate the engine and observe the instrument to confirm that the maintenance light is out and that there is no fail-code alert. In the event that anomalies continue to exist, the vehicle maintenance system can be properly operated once again or with the assistance of a specialist technician。
