On 26 june, the metropolitan press office organized a press conference on drug control in the city of quan, inviting members and deputy directors of the party committee of the public security department of the city of quantuan, the governor-general of the education department of the city of qui yuntao, the director of the emergency medical services command centre of the city of quantuan, yang yulong, and the chief of the anti-drug unit of the department of public security of the province of quantuan, to give a presentation on the work of the city in relation to drug control, drug prevention education for young people, the regulation of ephedrine drugs and the changing drug situation。
Li yuntao explained that drug prevention education for young people has been the focus of city-wide drug education. In recent years, the provincial department of education has been deepening the education of young people in the area of drug control, developing innovative educational models, enriching educational resources, promoting the institutionalization and standardization of drug prevention education in schools throughout the city, strengthening drug prevention education in primary and secondary schools as a first line of defence and as a key element of drug control education, and ensuring that young people are educated about drug control。
Annual city-wide drug prevention education programmes have been developed, drug-related curricula have been incorporated into the thematic curriculum for drug prevention education for primary and secondary school students, the curriculum for moral education in secondary vocational schools, the key elements of education for moral education, the rule of law and security at all levels, and all schools have achieved “five implementation” in order to ensure the smooth implementation of drug-related education in schools。
Each year, “five ones” of drug prevention education for school students (visiting an anti-drug exhibition, conducting an anti-drug workshop, conducting an anti-drug response to questions, conducting an anti-drug collection of works, watching a video or artistic performance of anti-drug materials) are organized. Drug prevention education for schoolteachers and students is conducted through the opening of the first class, subject classes, speeches under the flag, collection of anti-drug information, etc., and the active participation of teachers and students in anti-drug activities is mobilized. In 2024, a province-wide collection of standard anti-drug information materials was conducted, and seven drug information materials produced by teachers and students from the city of namu received prizes throughout the province, one of which received the first prize。
To promote drug education in schools, school-age primary and secondary school students throughout the city have been actively involved in the national youth anti-drug awareness competition for many years, and 100 per cent of the city's youth knowledge of the drug problem has been ranked first in the shandong region for five years. In 2023, on the basis of winning the first in-person finals of the province-wide youth anti-drug competition, working closely with the municipal public security directorate to select outstanding teachers and students, to hold closed training, to work together to provide strong guarantees for the team to prepare for the national finals, and to represent shandong in the national field finals of the national youth anti-drug competition organized by the national office for drugs and crime in fujian fuku。
