The lu liang mountain region is an old region of the revolution and a concentrated area of special hardship throughout the country. A " lu liang heroes " has given the whole country a more genuine understanding of this red land。
In the years of the revolutionary war, lu liang's daughter forged the great spirit of lu liang with blood and life. Today, the spirit of lu liang inspires the people here to fight poverty and to continue the legends of a new era in the face of the goal of a full-blown and prosperous society。

"moving" for a new life
Deep in the lu liang mountains, the mountains are deep and steeply infertile。
“i used to live in an earthy house, and there was wind all over the winter, and when it rained, it leaked. It's a long way to pick up water, and i never dreamed i'd live in a building for the rest of my life.” in a new house in the new immigration district of guangwei park, a 62-year-old poor family member, cao san, said:。
In the past, he lived in a narrow ditch in the village of zhao, where he lived in very poor conditions, the villagers summed up the following: the three difficulties were difficult to attend school, to see, to marry, to have no telephone, no power, no network。
On 22 september 2017, the last six villagers left in the village of zhao, including cao liu, were “packed in” in the new immigration district of the county city。

Schools, kindergartens, hospitals, leisure squares are all in this small district, which can accommodate more than 20,000 people. “the house is so big that when the tap is broken, there's so much running water, and we've been waiting for the rest of our lives, and our good days have finally come!” cao is excited to drag journalists to his new home。
“my land in the village is flowing out, with a rent of $1,300 a year. The best thing i can do is find a new job in the county, 2,800 jobs a month, more than anything in the past year。
The entire village moved out of the gutter and had a new life. Easily pro-poor relocation changes the living conditions of production by changing living space and giving people a sense of feeling and happiness。
In the new village of song jiu, which is about 15 kilometres east of the guangwei park, there is a small farm house called “windly home”. The owner of the small yard, a 64-year-old poor family, shen yao, used to live in the village of guangzhou, where he ate water and had to go to the river with donkeys. The family was crowded in a cave of less than 40 square metres, where they lived on a day-to-day basis。
In may 2017, shen yao hao and his companion liu lintao moved to song jiu. Accompaniment of the earth's cave, a new four-house in the monopolitan home, led them to a life that they had previously “thought and dare not think”。
The new house was open and bright, and it was easier to see and ride. Shen yao and her companion lau lin-tao began to wonder: "how can we get rich by moving out of a poor place
Living well requires hard work by poor people. Watching the crowds coming from the village, shen yao wonders how much it costs to sell the powder, make it into powder and sell it for $5. Less than a month after moving into the new home, shen yao paid for the cold powder stand to open。
Shen yao-hung said that she used to live in the old village and had no idea what else to do but grow land. Today, they make their own family music and sell their own food, with a yearly income of 30,000。

A new path of green and happy

For many years, drought and rain, mountains and green mountains, gutters and infertile soils have been a harsh reality in mount lu liang. “stick a slope and eat a nest”, a picture of the lives of the ancestors of the lu lian farmers。
“for the sake of life, the land available on the mountain is used to grow corn, valleys, eyes, etc., and rain, but a year goes by, with only $200 on an acre.” the poor member of the white village in tusai town, daening county, shanxi province, said von reimson。
Da ning county, located at the southern end of lu liangshan, is one of 10 deep poverty districts in shanxi province, where ecological fragility is a constraint to economic development。
How to break deep poverty and winFight against povertyWar? As called for in the “five groups” of measures to combat poverty, da ning county has taken advantage of the policy of ecological construction of the country and has opened the “ecological poverty reduction” path, which is organically linked to ecological governance and poverty eradication — the implementation of purchase-based afforestation and the greening of forests to raise people from poverty。
What is purchasing afforestation? In short, the government establishes planning, standards, forest cooperatives contract forest land to plant trees, and the government repurchases the purchase of socialized services after acceptance。
In daining county, the recipient of the purchase of the forest must be a professional cooperative for poverty eradication and solid forestry, with 80 per cent of the poor in the building card。
In the yellow river, which sits far from the hills, the 68-year-old von returns to his house with a sense of laughter on his wrinkled face。

"i used to come down to a coal kiln, sell tofu, run around for years or suffer from poverty." von said. In order to keep six children in school, he left his home town early in the year to work outside the country. He had to return to the village when he was too old. The income of a family is barely enough to feed itself, and the day passes beyond poverty. In 2014, following a process of precision identification, the family was classified as poor in the construction of the card。
In 2017, the white village set up an afforestation cooperative to encourage feng to participate. For more than two months of hard work, feng earned more than 4,000. This surprises him, makes him more aggressive and earns nearly $20,000 a year。
Today, the desert mountains have become green forests, the harsh ecological conditions in da ning county have improved, and the mountain-wide eco-economic forests have become “green banks” for poor local households。
According to the director of the forestry department of daining county, von xiaoming, 37 professional cooperatives have been set up in daining county to fight poverty, with more than 200,000 acres of economic and ecological forests planted in 2019 and 1578 poor people earning more than $15,000 per person per year。
In the past, over 80 per cent of the yellow sand in the western province was imported into the lu liang mountains each year. The green mountain brings green water and, as the ecological environment improves, the lu liang mountains lose at least 7 million tons of yellow sand per year。
During mid-summer, journalists drove through the deep of mount lu liang, with green clouds running out of their windows. From the desolate mountains to the foresty seas, the ever-spreading green is marked by the improvement of the ecological environment in mount lu liang and also bears witness to the historical footprints of many more lu liang farmers, such as feng jiang, who have emerged from poverty and taken the path to small prosperity。

Eating deep poverty "hard bones"

The fight against poverty is extremely difficult, and the worst is the mental fatigue of the poor。
Le lu liangshan gave birth to the “lu liang spirit” of “difficult struggle, concern for the larger picture, self-empowerment and innovation”. In a new era of battle against poverty, the heroism of the lu liang people must be brought to bear, and a path of blood must be slain。
With a small share of effort, it took only two years for a poor 43-year-old family member to move from being a “triple mother-in-law” with a stove, a child and a husband to being the head of a domestic service company that had led to the employment of more than 100 rural women。
Hsu ying was living in a poor, isolated village in xian town, shanxi province, with six sisters, who were older than five, and her family's plight enabled her to drop out of school at the age of 11 and start working in agriculture。
In order to live, she has sold fruit, done cleaning work, worked numerous casual jobs or was unable to earn enough, and has since incurred a considerable amount of external debt to enable two children to attend school。
However, her fate changed in 2016. During the year, xu yanping participated in a training course on “lu liangshan nurse”。
After a month of theoretical study and 10 days of practical training, hsu yanping was in a family in taiwon. When she got her first salary, she couldn't hide her feelings。

“i was so happy, i used to do cleaning, it was only $1,500 a month, and now i'm making twice as much money as i was, and i can't tell you how happy i am.” xu yiming said。
Soon, she grew from an ordinary monthly wife with a monthly wage of $3,000 to a monthly salary of more than 8,000, which was more than 10,000 yuan。
In may 2018, chiu yanping took out more than 100,000 yuan from her wife's savings and set up a domestic company. Over the two years of its existence, over 200 people, led by her, have been engaged in such tasks as sister-in-law, nursing, domestic work, etc., and have embarked on the path of enrichment。
Turning to future plans, she said, “the next step is to bring more sisters into the domestic service and help them to remove their poor hats completely.”
Liu chijie, director of poverty alleviation office, shanxi province, said that precision poverty alleviation had led to a change of attitude. In recent years, an increasing number of rural women in the lu liang mountains have come out of the mountains through systematic domestic skills training and found jobs in beijing, taiwon, etc. “lu liangshan protector” has become a “gold sign” for helping ziqi。
In lu liang city alone, more than 21,000 poor families are now exporting their labour through the “lu liangshan carers” to raise their incomes。
At the end of february of this year, 13 lu liang shan districts, including da ning county and ping county, were lifted out of poverty. For the first time in shanxi, lu liang shan district was lifted out of absolute poverty in the region, and lu liang daughter delivered an excellent anti-poverty response with her own practical actions.
