On the occasion of the international children's day, the national electricity network, kiryu city, went to the sands school to volunteer on the theme “electro-friendly go to school, safe `child' passes 61”, giving children an interesting safe electro-pance class, adding a safety background to their festivals with professional guardians。
At the site of the event, the “electrician lecturer” from the power company, combined with the cognitive characteristics of the primary school students, taught the students the basics of electricity, the potential dangers of electricity, etc., and the common sense of safe use of electricity in their daily lives, in a language that is easy to understand. In the classroom, the lecturers, using real cases and graphic metaphors in relation to the use of electricity on campuses and in the home, described safety points such as “wet hands are not able to touch the plugs” “rain and rain day away from trees and poles” and “electricity goes off first and then saves”, leading children to recognize the risks of electricity use around them and to learn the right way to avoid it。
An interactive question-and-answer session was set up at the end of the presentation in order to make security knowledge truly relevant. "what should we do first when we find someone with electrocution?" faced with a problem that is close to life, the students raised their hands and responded positively, and there was a warm and happy atmosphere. Volunteers have given small, well-prepared gifts to the children who answer the questions, encouraging them to compete as “safe-use electric promoters” and to bring the lessons learned home and share them with their families and friends。
The event, “electro-care into schools”, translated professional electrical knowledge into safe skills that children can understand, remember and use, not only to equip students with the necessary safe electricity, but also to sow the seeds of safety and care in their hearts.
