The regulation proposes to support the development of direct satellite technology research for terminal equipment, satellite communications and terrestrial mobile communications, explore new applications for technological integration and build a well-systemed industrial system. Encourage the enhancement of our network coverage through the direct satellite service of terminal equipment, promote its application in the areas of disaster prevention and mitigation, safe production, field operations and search and rescue, support the legal development and use of relevant data and encourage international exchanges and cooperation on an equal and mutually beneficial basis。
The regulations require that the provision of direct satellite services for the provision of terminal equipment to the territory, access to the public telecommunications network in the territory and the use of radio frequencies in the territory shall be subject to appropriate authorization and approval in accordance with the relevant provisions.
