On 24 june, the “1+5” alliance for agricultural science, technology and innovation in anhui province project for enterprise-wide chain pointing of vegetables was held in shu city county. The chief expert of the provincial vegetable system participated in the meeting with 16 experts, including zhang zhi an, president of the provincial horticultural society; the deputy director of the mono-ray secretariat of the union “1+ 5”; sun yuncai, director of the agricultural institute of the city of six an; and the head of the municipal and county agricultural sector and over 50 representatives of agricultural operators。
The demonstration base of poles focused on project milestones: new varieties, new technologies, new models, new materials, including over 50 new varieties in coalition units. The participants visited the pole demonstration base, where they viewed more than 270 melon varieties, as well as green control, water fertilizer integration and melon semi-cranium double-story planting techniques. At the subsequent exchange, the project partners signed a cooperation agreement for research and production; the project manager reported on the core construction tasks of the poles and on the progress made since the project was implemented and the next steps were deployed. Members of the group and large growers exchanged key technologies around the whole-industry chain of vegetables in the facilities of the city of six an。
“the phonogram project focuses on key areas such as new varieties of vegetables, green control, intelligent agriculture, cold chain processing, and is based on a 1,200-acre facility vegetable base, dedicated to the construction of new technology models such as talent development, technological development, conversion of results, demonstration promotion, integration of facilities with integrated vegetable chain services.” the project manager, governor of the provincial horticulture institute, zhang zhang zian, presented the project team with an initial selection of 33 highly performing and locally appropriate varieties, and further testing is under way; demonstration of guacabracing, eggplant mating, pest herbicide green control, tomato soilless cultivation, muscular potatoes soilless cultivation, demonstration of the application of light-simplified equipment such as drip fattening, environmental smart management, pest control, etc.; and conduct of on-site mentoring and conduct of four training sessions on the subject. “the next step will be to expand the demonstration of the results of the `four new types' (new varieties, new technologies, new models, new equipment), build up plant group training centres and upgrade production capacity, accelerate the digital agricultural landscape, conduct further technical training and strengthen the development of indigenous talent.”。
The results of the project were recognized by the single-country mine, which recommended that the focus on industrial development pains and core technical challenges form a technical standard, that typical examples of the development of a full-industry chain of plant vegetables be condensed and disseminated throughout the province through the alliance for agricultural science, technology and innovation dynamics. The heads of the agricultural and rural directorates of the city of six an and shu city county stressed the need for the poles to be innovative and truly exemplary, leading industrial development and creating real industry poles。
It was indicated that once the project had been fully completed, 12 excellent varieties would be promoted, leading to the standardized production of plant vegetables from a base of 10,000 hectares or more in the surrounding area; an increase of 10-15 per cent in the individual production of vegetable acres and an increase of more than 15 per cent in the average acre value of the pole facility; and a new sales volume of $5 million, leading to an annual increase of $3,000 for farmers in the core area。
