Directed by the director general: from the first to the third
The director's first test
The first test at the director's department was primarily about your knowledge of art theory and social commons. Of the 100 options, about 60 per cent are derived from high school knowledge, such as “what country lost in the two world wars?”, “trump was the president of the united states?”, “what is the acronym of the beijing film institute?” and so on. If you're working in high school and you're paying attention to life, then it shouldn't be too difficult。
The remaining 40 per cent of the topics will be more focused on your art and cinematography, such as, “who is the director who has not won the golden palm award twice?” “what film of hezeming is written from king lear?”, “what's hamlet's heroine?”, “ray rains?” etc. These questions will be extended to your usual knowledge of film literature。
The director's retrying
Retesting is called a free speech, a group of 5-8. You can introduce your home town, yourself, family and friends. Teachers want to hear something specific, not your ideals or how much you love movies, because it's hard to say how much you love movies in a few minutes of exams, and teachers hear too many similar things, so they're less impressed。
Free speech is primarily about your passion for life and your ability to express it. A director needs to be able to communicate his thoughts clearly. If you say you can't go on or you don't know what you're doing at the scene, the teacher will give you some tips, for example, when you're talking about family, and if you're talking about space, the teacher may ask you to say something that your family is impressed by. And then you have to watch your own words, try not to be space-wide, but to be brief, because teachers don't stay too long for single candidates because of time problems。
The director will try three times
The three tests were more professional and the examination content was mandatory. It is divided into three parts: art/photography analysis, music analysis and design. The first two parts require candidates to have a certain base of music and fine arts, and these two projects primarily examine your ability to feel music and artistic images. Of course, there is a better basis。
Artistic stress is a potential, and you just have to be positive. Most of the music gives the classical music and the original sound of the movie, and if you can hear where it comes from, of course you can say it boldly and tell it with confidence and calmly. If you're not a music-based candidate, try not to use too many professional terms in case the teacher asks and brings you up and down, thereby affecting your performance。
