The meeting stressed the importance of following up on the important ideas of secretary-general xi regarding the development of talent for the new era, fully implementing the strategic deployment of intellectual property powers, anchoring the goal of building a world-class intellectual property cadre, improving intellectual property skills development, utilization, evaluation and incentives, working to create a new “155” intellectual property talent development and providing solid talent support to accelerate the building of intellectual property powers。
At the meeting, presentations were made by the heads of the liaoning, shanghai, zhejiang, anhui, shaanxi intellectual property authority and the dean of the relevant colleges of the university of toji and dalian polytechnic. The director of the shanghai international institute of intellectual property, in conjunction with the academy's orientation and parenting practices, highlighted the university's exploration and experience in intellectual property skills development: firstly, a new approach to the development of complex intellectual property talent that addresses national strategic needs and industrial development needs, explores cross-cutting disciplines; secondly, the continuing improvement of the master's degree training system in intellectual property, based on the advantages of school disciplines, which has created a distinctive “peer model” for talent development; and thirdly, the deepening of international exchanges and synergies, building on high-level international platforms for cooperation, and expanding the international perspective and global competencies of intellectual property talent development。
