In an effort to raise awareness of the issue of health care for the elderly and to improve the health and self-care capacities of the population, recently, the mok-tai-su street community organized, in conjunction with the german hospital, an awareness-raising campaign on the health of osteo-related diseases at community centres on the theme “life with health”. The campaign extended specialized medical services to the homes of the inhabitants and attracted the active participation of a large number of community members, especially senior and middle-aged friends。
At the event, a team of doctors from the same german hospital gave a systematic and clear presentation on the core elements of the prevention, cause and management of osteoporosis. Doctors have abandoned deep-seated medical terminology and, in common language, have elaborated on how to effectively protect joint health through scientific diet, moderate exercise, avoidance of bad positions and overwork, taking into account common cases in everyday life. The atmosphere of the live interactive sessions is active. Residents have frequently asked questions about their concerns about joint pain relief, scientific calcium supplementation and choice of exercise methods, and doctors have provided patient answers and personalized advice.
