Taking into account various factors, such as ease of work and the maintenance of industry stability, the city of yichang has granted the tour trade union legal personality to the ichang tourist service. The city of yichang has made it possible to register its trade union legal personality, thus breaking down a major problem。
On 22 august, the founding and first general meeting of the joint trade union committee of the touring industry of yichang city considered and adopted the " method for the election of the joint trade union committee of the touring industry of yichang city " and elected the heads and members of the first joint trade union committee of the touring trade union, the financial review committee and the women workers committee. Huang ling was elected president of the first tour trade union and zhang liang was elected vice-president。
Huang ling has been working on guided tour management for some 10 years. Their greatest concern, and most frequently mentioned by members, is the protection of the right to remuneration for guided tours。
Huang ling said that the trade is more professional than salary。
The guide is divided into dedicated and social guides. A full-time tour tour guide is a tour guide contracted by law with a travel agency, which carries out the primary responsibility for managing the tour and carries out a confirmation of the case at the municipal guided tour service centre; a social tour tour guide is hired on a temporary basis, on a daily basis, either directly by the travel agency or through the guided tour service centre。
In such a system of long-standing remuneration, the guided tour income is not a “high salary” that is well-known and is often vulnerable. The contracts that eventually emerged also include, inter alia, the strict application of travel itinerary arrangements for social tour guides upon acceptance of a temporary mission from a travel agency, and the prohibition of grouping, chorusing, dissolving, unauthorized changes in travel itinerary or suspension of service activities. In the event of damage to the rights and interests of tourists or significant financial loss to the travel agency, the travel agency may, in accordance with the law, submit in writing to the tourism authority for administrative punishment。
