In accordance with the proclamation, the services procured by the pdci included research and analysis of the current state and planning of economic and social development in the region, including the size of the economy, industrial structure and distribution, tourism resource development, urbanization processes, etc.; study and analysis of the current state and planning of the development of integrated transport development in the region and of transport modes such as railways, roads, civil aviation, etc.; study of route paths and introduction of hubs; and presentation of route macro-routing programmes based on forecasting of transport demand and project functionality, taking into account the main factors influencing the coverage of economic positions, attraction of the economy's population, linking tourist attractions, etc。
The commission was informed that the hanbanan railway was included in the national and provincial plans of the national medium- and long-term railway network plan, the plan for the revitalization of the old zone of the sichuan revolution, the plan “145” of sichuan province and the vision 2035 framework. In order to facilitate the early entry of the project into the national planning and implementation, inter-provincial coordination mechanisms have been set up among the relevant units in sasakawa provinces, which have been continuously strengthening their communication with the national development reform commission and the national iron group. Prior to this, the cities of bachong, hanchong and poo-chicken had joined forces to promote the integration of the project into national planning. The tender marked the launch of the pre-project study, which accelerated progress。
The hanbanan railway is a high-speed railway linking the city of hanchong, shaanxi province, with the cities of bacheng and nancheng, sichuan province. It consists of two sections, “han-bachong” and “ba-chat-south bing”. Of that total, 148 km long and 21. 6 billion yuan were invested in the central to southern filling line, and construction began in december 2019, at a speed of 250 km, with the construction of a two-way passenger line, which was completed on 27 june 2024. It is planned that the mid-to-medium-bar segment of the hanban railway will be approximately 164 kilometres long, of which approximately 110 kilometres in sichuan and 54 kilometres in shaanxi, with a total investment of approximately 24. 9 billion yuan, to be built at speeds above 250 kilometres per hour。
The head of the commission described the hambanan railway as an important rail link between the chengsu economic zone and the guanxi economic zone, linking the old revolutionary areas of hanchong, bachong and nandu, and west chenggyeong iron, which is connected to the lancheng railway and chengdao mangwan iron in the south, as the main rail line in the north of the kawasu zone, with more than 15 million people living along the radiation route. When fully completed, the project will further improve the regional high-iron network, improve regional transport conditions, facilitate the movement of people along the routes, accelerate the exploitation of tourism resources along the routes and promote economic and social development along the routes。
