On 5 march, the chinese consumers ' association released 16 test comparisons of household gas smokers。
From october to december 2017, the chinese consumer association tested two important indicators for safety projects and performance projects, based on consumption demand, for some of the brands currently sold on the market, and for the first time introduced on-site consumer experience。
The results of the experiment showed that oil smokers were of high overall quality, that safety performance was fully in line with national requirements, and that individual product performance indicators varied or did not meet the standards。
I. Samples
This comparative test sample totals 16 sections, covering 13 brands at prices ranging from 298 to 5568。
This time, the comparative sample is divided into top-suction smokers
Deep (medium) and tower (european) smokers
And side-suction smokers。
Scientific testing and user experience
This comparative experiment consists of three large items, namely, safety projects and performance project tests, as well as user experience (cleaning and maintenance convenience of oil smokers)。
Safety performance: signs and description, protection against exposure to electrical components, input power and currents, leaking currents and electrical strength at working temperature, stability and mechanical hazards, mechanical strength, structure, grounding measures。
2. Performance tests: wind volume, wind pressure, energy efficiency level (total pressure efficiency, power off, standby), instantaneous odor reduction and noise。
3. User use experience (cleaning and maintenance of smokers): based on the daily use of smokers, user experience focuses mainly on cleaning and maintenance of smokers。
Iii. Results of tests
(i) consumers are assured of the safety of samples
All the samples from this comparison test did not reveal any quality problems in the safety project and consumers could use them comfortably。
(ii) individual samples do not meet specified levels of energy efficiency
In the sample under this comparison, the sample, labelled the vanguard cxw-258-l2, had a stand-by power measurement value of 1. 35 w and an express value of 1. 2 w, which did not meet the firm's stated target. The total pressure efficiency of the sample named mrs. Cxw-180 was measured at 7. 3 per cent, with an explicit value of 21 per cent, and did not meet the express value requirements of the product。
This comparative experiment will examine only three indicators of full pressure efficiency, standby power and shutdown power at the energy efficiency level。
(iii) right view of wind volume and pressure
The gb/t 17713-2011 oil smoker requires that the wind be not less than 10 m3/min, whereas the measured value is in the range of -10% and the measured value is not below the standard limit。
In this test, five of the measured wind values above 17 m3/min were measured。
The gb/t 17713 - 2011 oil smoker requires a wind pressure (static pressure at specified wind volume) not less than 100 pa。
After testing, the measured wind pressure values for other samples, except for samples for which no explicit wind pressure values were available, were greater than the stated wind pressure values. Of these, four side-sniffer samples and two top-sniffer samples had a measured wind pressure above 300 pa。
(iv) when the kitchen is full of oil smoke, the suction is relatively good
This comparative experiment simulates the ability of a smoke-filled kitchen to reduce the smoke in the room within three minutes. The higher the drop in instantaneous odor, the better the effect of smoking in short periods of time。
The results showed that, as the installation levels specified in the instructions for the top-suction smokers were generally higher than those for the side-smoking smokers, the upper-smoking smokers were relatively good when the entire room was full of smoke。
As can be seen from the graph above, the instantaneous decline in the odor of most products ranges from 70 to 80 per cent, meeting the consumer's need for a large amount of oil and smoke removal during daily cooking。
(v) sound control overall is good
Of all models tested in this comparison, one model did not have an explicit noise value and the other 15 models indicated a noise limit。
According to the measured noise, most of the smoker noise in this comparison was between 69db (a) and 71db (a), below the standard noise limit of 73db (a)。
(vi) user experience: side-smoking smokers are highly evaluated in experience
The findings are as follows:

General
Mrs. Cxw-180, handsome cxw-200-t9002, boss cxw-200-5700, 10,000 and cxw-180-h05g four smokers are rated as being generally user-friendly in terms of cleaning and maintenance。
Iv. Consumption tips
As a highly technologically mature product, the quality of the product is less problematic.
Consumers are often heard complaining about the lack of air and power of the smokers, which is generally closely related to the correct installation and use of the smokers。
(i) selection
1. Every effort shall be made to purchase branded products produced by well-known enterprises, such as mandatory national certification markings such as 3c, product release certificates, etc。
2. For example, consumers who often explode in cooking can choose products with relatively high wind volumes。
3. Consumers who use public flue pipes, especially in high-rise buildings, should opt for products with relatively high wind pressure, so that the wind decline is less severe。
(ii) installation environment
1. Installation height
Some consumers overload the gas-smoking machine in order not to meet, and when cooking produces large quantities of smoke, the smoke spreads during the upswing and spreads to other kitchen spaces before reaching the smoke-smoking machine。
Conversely, some consumers have installed oil smokers too low in order to be more conducive to the discharge of oil and smoke, while for users using gas stoves, gas smokers have been installed at a lower level than the prescribed safety risks, such as causing a fire to the oil smoker。
In accordance with the requirements of our standards for the safety of oil-smoking smokers, smoke-smoking machines installed above gas stoves should have a minimum distance of 650 mm from the support side of cookers' stoves。
In order to ensure the effects of soot smoking, the installation of side-suction smokers can be reduced appropriately, subject to the above safety standards。
2. Selection
The longer the pipe, the greater the number of turn-ups, the greater the resistance to smoke discharges, so that the position of the stove is chosen as close as possible to the vents on the public pipe or on the wall and the length of the pipe and the number of turn-ups are reduced, not only to reduce resistance but also to avoid unnecessary noise。
