The supreme authority of the china intellectual property research council is the national assembly of members. The congress is held every four years. The institute is a national, academic and public-interest social organization under the authority of the national intellectual property agency, composed of persons and institutions working in the field of intellectual property and its research. There is a patent commission, a professional commission for intellectual property protection, etc。
Since its establishment, the institute has held six national membership congresses. The sixth council was elected by the sixth national congress on 17 may 2012. The honorary president of the sixth council of the institute was lu xianxian, ren xin xin and kang ying. On 11 december 2014, the china intellectual property research council (cipr) convened its sixth session of the governing council, at which it considered and adopted a resolution on the restructuring of part of the sixth session of the governing council, which is now composed of 333 members, the chairman of the governing council, mr. Hari-pu, the vice-president of the governing council, mr. Gan shonin, the vice-president of the governing council, and others, namely, 30 members, including tseok, the vice-president of the governing council and 82 members, the secretary-general, mr. The china society for intellectual property research (cipri) was preceded by the chinese society for industrial property studies (cipri). On 12 december 1984, the preparatory commission for the china industrial property research council was established at the initiative of the chinese patent office. On 29 march 1985, the china society for industrial property research was officially established. On 30 november 1990, the name of the china intellectual property society was changed to the china intellectual property society, which is a legal entity of a national association established with the approval of the ministry of civil affairs (social certificate no. 4450)。
