Quality development has been promoted through the deployment of agricultural technicians in zhongcheng county to conduct training programmes to achieve a standard technology coverage of more than 90 per cent, with a better outcome rate of about 5 per cent, up to more than 25 per cent; precise positioning of the “health fruit” brand image, the organization of major events, such as successive marketing conferences for blood oranges, “going out” to key markets in thailand, hong kong, shanghai, beijing, etc.; brand promotion and trade negotiations, with a price of more than $12 per pound; successful export to a number of countries and regions; and a luxurious transition from “local specialty” to “international business cards”。
