Report title: physico-chemical effects of saturated and unsaturated soil seepage processes
Reporter: wei changfu researcher
Reporting time: wednesday, 23 november 2024, 9. 30 a. M
Reporting location: building engineering college room 206
Summary of the report: darcy's law gives a linear relationship between pore fluid flow speed and pressure gradients (or surface), which, in conjunction with pore fluid mass balance equations, form a flow model of fluids in pore mass media, which is widely used to describe single- or multiple-phase seepage processes in rock and earth bodies and is applied in areas such as rock and soil, water, oil and chemical. However, in practical applications, such models have at least the following problems: 1) chemical penetration and thermal penetration effects are not taken into account; 2) there is theoretical disharmony between the two streams; 3) there is no explanation for the initial water head phenomenon in natural sedimentary clay layers. The report begins with several examples of the deficiencies of these seepage models and discusses the root causes of their occurrence; then introduces a new seepage model and demonstrates theoretically and experimentally its compatibility and effectiveness; and finally presents the prospects for the application of the model being built through several margin issues。
