The base invests approximately $700,000 annually in the rental of sheds, land flow, maintenance of facilities and labour. Wang ming said that the base workers were recruited through the village, giving priority to the neighbouring villagers, where more than 30 people worked. At the peak of the harvest, the number reached more than 50, and wages were settled on the same day, allowing for steady employment and increased income at home。
The villagers of guihua village in yun jin town said, “i was introduced through the village to work as a base worker, caring for the family and securing a steady income, working eight hours a day at the peak and earning $200 a day.”
