In the afternoon of 2 june, sampeng town, west canyon county, conducted a 2026 anti-pollution and geo-hazard response exercise in the village of sampeng, to provide a solid response to the disaster and to improve the capacity of the cadres to rescue themselves and to coordinate their efforts。
At 5 p. M., the exercise officially opened with an order from the general command of the town. This exercise, which was conducted in the complex terrain of the sanctuary mountains, with numerous trenches and scattered geological hazard sites, was conducted in close proximity to real-life hazards, simulated heavy rainfall that triggered water surges in rivers, a loose mountain and a geological disaster, and tested the operational and operational level of emergency response plans at the town and village levels。
The exercise was conducted in a well-organized and well-processed manner with the participation of members of the armed forces of the town, police stations, health clinics, natural resources offices, emergency management offices, rural agricultural service centres, electric power stations, etc., and the participation of the town-based militia, assault squads, village staff and the local population at large.
