The deputy director-general of the national intellectual property agency, rae wenzheng, presented the year 2025 as the year of admission to the “145” planning officer. Second is the continuous improvement in the quality of intellectual property creation. Throughout the year, 972,000 invention patents, 4. 206 million registered trademarks, 10,677,000 registered copyrights, 104 identified geographical markers, 51 registered as collective trademarks and certified trademarks, and 6986 granted the right to new varieties of plants. Thirdly, there has been a strong increase in intellectual property protection. Market regulators have investigated 37,000 offences such as patents and trademarks. The intellectual property department has disposed of 9,341 cases of administrative decisions on patent infringement disputes and directed 62,000 cases of intellectual property conciliation. Copyright enforcement investigated 2,713 cases of physical market piracy. The national customs authorities seized 38,000 shipments suspected of import or export violations, involving 757. 5 million shipments suspected of violations. The people's courts have concluded 540,000 intellectual property cases of various kinds. The public prosecution service prosecuted 19,000 persons for offences against intellectual property and handled 3,658 cases of civil, administrative and public interest proceedings against intellectual property. Public security organs have opened cases to investigate 26,000 cases of offences against intellectual property and the sale of counterfeit goods. Social satisfaction with intellectual property protection has risen to 82. 81 points, with a higher level of innovation。
Fourthly, the benefits of the application of intellectual property rights are accelerating. Successfully accomplishing the objectives of the specific action for patent conversion, the rates of patent industrialization in universities and research institutes rose to 10. 1 per cent and 17. 2 per cent, respectively. Completion of the national intellectual property public service platform, opening of 62 intellectual property data, creation of 28 thematic databases on priority industrial patents and over 100 million operations on the public and innovation backbone. Activities such as the opip initiative and the “intellectual property services (ipss)” have cumulatively benefited over 400,000 enterprises.
