In order to further advance the building of a strong intellectual property nation and create a favourable climate of “respect for knowledge, innovation, integrity and compliance with the law, and fair competition”, on 23 april, the joint district commission advocacy department, the youngsu district people's procuratorate, and the youngsu district people's court, among others, conducted a focused information campaign on the 2026 intellectual property awareness week on the theme “strengthening the protection of intellectual property rights in emerging areas and accelerating the development of new quality productivity” in the central squares of the county。

The event was held in various forms, including banners, advisory booths, information boards, information materials and on-site responses to queries, to disseminate information about intellectual property rights to passing audiences. Staff highlighted laws and regulations such as the trademarks law of the people's republic of china, the patents law of the people's republic of china, the copyright law of the people's republic of china and the regulations on the protection and promotion of intellectual property rights in shaanxi province. They elaborated on topical issues such as patent applications, registration of trademarks, protection of geographical indications, and described the methods of identification of counterfeit and false goods and the dangers of abuse. At the same time, in the context of the county specialty industry, emphasis was placed on geomarked products such as the “living honey” and “living apples” and on the conservation and brand value of the country's outstanding new agricultural products, as well as on promoting efficiency in the enabling specialty industries。

This week coincided with the “five progress” (enterprise, school, community, unit, network). The staff reach out to small and medium-sized enterprises in the county area and provide one-on-one precision support to guide enterprises in strengthening patent layout, trademark management and business secrecy protection to stimulate entrepreneurial innovation; enter schools and create awareness of intellectual property protection among young people in the form of fun classes, knowledge questions and answers; reach out to communities and units and spread the close relationship between intellectual property rights and the well-being of people, and guide people to self-conscious resistance to fraudulent products。

The campaign distributed more than 600 copies of various information materials and received more than 200 public consultations, further enhancing public awareness and protection of intellectual property rights, and enhancing enterprise innovation development and brand protection。
