The basics of the gansu rural workbook, a general description of the farming industry, an agricultural calendar, a natural agricultural disaster, an explanation of the terms related to the farming sector, and a policy interpretation focus on the various aspects of agricultural production, including the areas of crop cultivation, production, technology models, distribution areas, movement control indicators, agricultural history, pest prevention and control, as well as the key elements of agricultural natural disasters and coping strategies, with a view to regulating the various types of agricultural information, harmonizing the content and control standards, and further improving the efficiency and level of agricultural movement control. Journalists are aware that the manual draws on innovative practices and best practices in farming deployment in recent years, while focusing on a combination of theory and practice. It contains both systematic methodological guidance and practical operational processes and standard norms for the general population of farmers and “three farmers” workers, which help to enhance the professional capacity and efficiency of farming deployments among “three farmers”。
Gansu is located in the confluence of the three highlands of the yellowland, the tsang and the inner mongolia plateau, with complex topography and diverse climate types. As the province of balance of production and distribution of oil crops, gansu has more than 20 varieties of food crops, including winter wheat, spring wheat, barley, maize, cyanide, sorghum, rice, potatoes and beans, of which wheat is the main crop, spread throughout the province and accounts for more than half of the province's food crops。

The main varieties of cash crops are cotton, oil, ricin, sesame, beet, sulfur, sunflower, garlic, tea, tobacco, beer flowers, etc. The fruit tree resources are more than 1,000 varieties, of which 480 are peaches, pears, almonds, prunes, tomatoes, dates and citrus。
