African ostrich are about 183-300 cm in size, 240-280 cm in height, 130-150 kg body weight and slightly smaller female. It looks strange, with a small head on its long neck, like a snake, with a short, flat triangle of several horns, yellow on its mouth and pink on its lower mouth, and two brown eyes like the eyes of a frog, full of gods. The shortness of the body, the flatness of the rib, the absence of a dragon bone, the birth of a pair of short wings that appear to be disproportionate to the body, which have deteriorated, have not flown feathers and cannot fly, except for the need to show off the feathers of the wings when the male falls in love with the female during the breeding period, to spread wings during the incubation period and the incubation period so that the eggs or the chicks are not exposed to the hot sun, and to grow their voice and fear the enemy, and to spread wings to maintain the balance of the body when running quickly. The tail plume is loose, and each tailbone is separated. The legs are long, large, and some are naked and plumeless, pink and very strong, with horny mats beneath the toes, flexible and insulated, suitable for walking or running in the sand。
The ostrich eats a wide variety of foods, but it eats insects, molluscs, small-scale reptiles, birds, mammals, etc., mainly of plants, especially flowering shrubs, parasitic scavengers, ground chickens and wild figs, and so on, as well as sand particles to help digest them. Interestingly, nails, coins, bottle caps, ropes and even diamonds can be found in their stomachs。

Each female lays 10 to 12 eggs, with a maximum of 25 to 30 eggs per nest. The eggs are large, yellow and white, with a size of 152 x 203 mm and an egg weight of about 1,300-2000 g. The female hatches during the day, the male bears at night. The incubation period is 40-42 days. The chicks are early. Three years of sexual maturity and 60 years of life。
