The refrigerators we see on a day-to-day basis, mainly by excreting heat from the outside using refrigerants and compressors, thus keeping the refrigerator relatively cold. The hot summer is coming, the outdoor barbecue, what about the frozen meat? Of course, you can do this with ice and heat insulation, but it's too short。
Evaptainer is an interesting invention that neither requires electricity nor sustains it。
Cause: ensure that small farms carry the same food mass
Quang truong, a student from the massachusetts institute of technology, designed a non-electric refrigerator that could be taken with him. However, the design was intended for rural areas, particularly poor areas in developing countries, where the lack of the necessary electricity infrastructure has led to more or less deterioration in the delivery of 45 per cent of the food, which has caused considerable losses to small farms. As a result, the electric-free refrigerator, which is affordable to everyone, was born。
Evaptainer can solve this problem. It uses the principles of evaporation cooling to achieve cooling. With regard to evaporation cooling, each of us should have felt it, swimming back and blowing the wind, and it was cold. So how did evaptainer do it? The evaptainer interior is made of earth clay, as shown in the figure below, with an arrow pointing to a layer of wet sand used for evaporation and insulation, and the outer layer is made of aluminium plates and special materials, which ensure light weight and are not fragile。
And evaptainer's capacity is very interesting, and it can accommodate 60 l foods, about 150 tomatoes. You only need six litres of water to keep food for 12 hours. There is no need for windmills and pumps, so that small farms can deliver good food to their destinations。
The price is very personal
As a farmer, the cost of evaptainer was only $10, which could be recovered within two months and the proceeds could be increased by 25 per cent. Evaptainer is moving towards commercialization, and the designer, quang truong, has reportedly received an investment of $20,000 and is currently conducting field trials with partners in morocco。

Evaporation cooling, using modern materials and production, to design such a fresh, non-power-free refrigerator would significantly reduce the pressure on farmers and increase the freshness of the food delivered to us. Such a good thing, you should have shown up earlier
