The biggest difference between gas heaters and electric water heaters is that the heat of gas heaters is unlimited, gas is burned whenever it is burned, and any hot water you want. The electric water heaters are limited in capacity, one box is so full, they have to burn in cold water, and half of the water may be dry in winter。
Different water burning principles also lead to a difference in the meaning of the expression, although both are "litres"。
The number of litres of electric water heaters means capacity. For example, 60l electric water heaters are thermal 60l water (60l water tanks are huge and some small toilets may not be available)。
The number of litres of gas heaters indicates the amount of water produced per minute. By standard, it's the water flow per minute at 25 degrees。

For example, the intake pipe is 5 degrees cold water, set to burn to 40 degrees, and the gas heater of 13l is running water per minute:

However, it is true that electro-thermal water heaters are also in the heat and can be installed in toilets, small sizes and space-saving. But there's a lot of power, and you can think of how much power it takes to heat the water a few dozen degrees with electricity。
Because of its power, it may have an impact on the use of other appliances and is yet to be tested for safety。
The thermoelectric water heater uses a 6-square wire, although many manufacturers say that 4-square lines can be carried, but it's getting worse and worse after long-term use. Some old houses, only six squares into the household bus (mostly 10 squares of new houses), can't install this water heater。
In the north, the heater is less recommended, because the temperature of water entering the household in winter is low and the flow of water is particularly small and the temperature is not stable. Water-intensive areas such as beijing are not recommended for use。
Secondly, it's a matter of water temperature. It's about bathing
The flow and temperature of gas heaters can be unstable by water pressure size, gas flow, etc。
If the in-house water pressure itself is small, the flow is necessarily small. If the in-house water pressure is particularly small, some gas heaters may not be able to fire because the ignition process cannot be triggered。
Many gas heaters can start at low pressure or low domestic water pressure can be addressed by boosting pumps。

However, the loading of booster pumps is less recommended and may affect the flow of water to the upper and lower neighbourhoods. Because you all share a main pipe, water use suddenly increases in one household and decreases in the other, as reflected in the gas heaters in the latter, which set the heating temperature at the same level, but with less inflow, the hot water will be warmer than required, and the showerers will feel the temperature suddenly warmer, and the flow less。
Even in their own homes, if the kitchen washes water suddenly, the amount of water fed into the water heater decreases。
By the same token, when you share a total gas pipeline, water temperature drops sharply at the peak of gas use if the heater drops in gas。

There are many brands that can be controlled by constant temperatures, better water heaters, and warmer heaters are doing well. Changes in water volume and gas levels have basically no effect on water temperature (water flow is still affected), and general water heaters, although they can still feel water temperature fluctuations, are less obvious。

What's the temperature limit
A particularly good water heater can keep temperature differentials at > 0. 1 degrees, and people can barely feel the temperature changes. And poor water heaters can only keep temperature differentials at ±5 degrees, and people can feel changes in water temperature。

In comparison, the flow of water from electric water heaters is relatively more stable, and there is no risk of fragmentation. The limitation is that the heat is fixed, and the bathing is especially expensive for the children's shoes, and the more they wash the water, the less they feel cooler ... It is that the hot water is running out and that it may have to be reheated with water such as foam。

The third point is the question of who gets the hot water faster when it first opens
This has nothing to do with the water heater itself, mainly because of the length of the hot pipe between the water heater and the vent, the longer the pipe, the slower the hot water is produced。
Generally, however, gas combustion by gas heaters requires oxygen consumption in the air, so in order to be safe, it must be located in a well-ventilated place, usually in the kitchen or balcony, possibly some distance from the bathroom, and the water pipe is longer。

The electric water heaters are basically in the bathroom, close to the flowers, short water pipes, and cold water stored in them will soon be released, and the heating will be much faster。
The situation where gas heaters are too far away from the bathroom can be addressed by creating a hot water cycle system. Why don't you wait for a few seconds to get cold water
The hot water cycling system is the addition of a water returner (hot water cycling pump) and a pipe all the way back to keep the hot water cycling in this pipe。

The principles of the hot water cycle are better understood in the figure below, and the tilt means that the pipe is the cycling path, and the water in it is always hot. And when someone actually uses water, rips off a tap, the hot water gets there more quickly。

Since the backpipes are pre-filled, it is very difficult to determine whether or not to recycle the hot water before the water or water is retrofitted (usually at the bottom of the water)。
The hot water cycle divides large cycles and small cycles. Small cycles are cheaper, re-routing costs about a third more than non-cycle, and small cycles still need cold water for a few seconds, which is certainly better than not。
However, there is also a problem with the hot water cycle, which has a certain impact on the life of the water heater because of the fact that the water is not cold in the pipe and that the heater is required to fire the water frequently。

The higher-end gas heater brings back its own water function, the zero-cold-water gas heater. But these water heaters are extremely expensive, close to a million dollars, and they're only a thousand times more expensive to add to them

Fifth, the "gas is not safe" everyone's worried about
If the gas heater is insufficiently oxygened or insufficiently burned because of its incorrect placement, resulting in the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, there is also a risk of electrical leakage。
Safety is the bottom line for the production of water heaters, and measures are now in place for safety protection, both for gas and electric water heaters。
