On 8 december, the science and technology department of qinghai province organized an evaluation by experts of the results of the “keyme industrialized key technology research and demonstration” jointly carried out by the qinghai nation university, the qinghai provincial institute of quality and standards, the qinghai institute of health and technology and the sining source organic agricultural development company ltd., which reached an international lead。
The project carried out more systematic and comprehensive research and technological development and policy innovation on the distribution and evolution of plumes in the tibetan highlands, conservation of seed quality resources, techniques for the upgrading of varieties, efficiency reduction techniques, testing of products in deep processing and heavy saline ground plume cultivation. The project theoretically revealed the emergence of plume as a refuge from glacial periods and the formation of an expanding molecular evidence and evolutionary distribution pattern in the tibetan plateau, providing a key scientific basis for a comprehensive understanding of the biological properties and ecological adaptability of plume. The establishment of a technical system for the “triple-separation” of pyro-species resources and a technological system for pure and well-bred breeding of pyro-magnetics have significantly increased the age of seed degradation and significantly improved yields and quality. This has resulted in a 70 per cent increase in yields and a 50 per cent reduction in planting costs. The biological properties of the salinite land have been clarified and effective use and ecological restoration of salin lands have been achieved. The production of the local standards for food safety (dry products), which were published in the local standards of qinghai province (dbs 63/0001-2021), has succeeded in incorporating ricin into the catalogue of food products, laying a solid statutory foundation for the industrial development of gill. The technical results of the project will be used for an additional 1,196 million yuan, with significant social, economic and ecological benefits。
The above results have been instrumental in supporting the transition of the natural resources of the tibetan highlands to industrial advantages and in advancing the economic and social development of the qinghai sea。
