
According to news from the organizing committee of the jilin provincial cashiers' professional skills competition, the sixth “silver concert” professional skills competition for business cashiers in jilin province, co-organized by the jilin provincial business union, the jilin trade union and the chinese union jilin branch, will be officially inaugurated on 16 september 2014 with a fierce competition for nearly 1,000 cashiers from various industries throughout the province. In comparison to the previous five competitions, the leadership of the organization was further strengthened, while the format of the competition was enriched and the financial ic card was added to the content of the competition. In terms of organizational leadership, the jilin business federation, the jilin trade union for commercial services in jilin province, and the china union of jilin branch; the jilin women's union, the people's bank's chief of the spring centre, have been strongly supported; commercial banks in the province, the provincial union of rural credit unions, and the union's business gilin branch have been active partners. In terms of the format of the competition, the competition is divided into pre-elections for municipalities (states) and finals for jilin province. In terms of the content of the competitions, the competitions are divided into written and machine tests. In particular, the written tests included: bank card basics, bank card recognition, pos basics, cic and pos operating processes (debit card/electronic cash/scrambling), cell phone payments, internet payments, complaints, error processing, credit card processing requirements and steps, transaction information and machine safekeeping, fraud transaction identification and risk prevention for bank card use; and, in addition to basic skills, the competition also included the knowledge component of the commercial service sector, which included an overview of cashier positions, professional ethics, professional codes, basic knowledge of goods, ceremonial knowledge, service knowledge, security knowledge and relevant legal and regulatory knowledge. The test included equipment dismantling, pos signing, pos transaction processes (including consumption, consumption cancellation, refunds, pre-authorization, pre-authorization, pre-authorization, pre-authorization and pre-authorization, etc.) and common failure management of pos equipment。

In addition, the greatest highlight of this competition, compared to previous ones, is the focus on the knowledge and practical operation of the ic card. Since its entry into 2011, china's banking card industry has entered a new phase in its transformation.
