On 23 may 2012, the beijing city council for science and technology issued a “notice on the publication of the list of priority laboratories identified in beijing in 2011 and the beijing city centre for engineering and technology research”. Our school was successful in obtaining approval for three beijing city priority laboratories and one beijing city engineering and technical research centre。
Since the beijing city council launched the declaration of beijing focus laboratory and beijing city engineering technology research centre in 2011 last year, our school has organized a series of presentations of “mm wave and tahertz” technology, “chemical power and green catalyst”, “nami optical and super-precision photoelectric systems”, three beijing focus laboratories and one beijing city engineering technology research centre, “fibre cellulose and its derivatives”, all of which were successfully approved by the beijing city focus laboratory and the beijing city engineering technology research centre。
Introduction to the beijing focus laboratory for millimeter waves and teherz technologies

The laboratory, based on the institute of information and electronics, conducts research in the fields of millimetre wave integration systems technology, the application of the tehertz key devices technology and its systems applications, and the theory and technology of electromagnetic prediction, taking into account the critical needs of national and beijing city social development, as well as in the application of the tehertz key devices technology and its systems, and the theory and technology of electromagnetic prediction。
Introduction to chemical power sources and green catalytic beijing focus laboratory
The laboratory explores new principles and approaches in the field of technology for electrochemical and energy materials, based on the institute of chemical and environmental sciences, which addresses national needs for new and green energy sources, using electrochemistry as a means of addressing key scientific issues and technologies in the process of energy transformation; and uses chemical and energy materials as the core of research, to undertake basic research in the areas of molotovated solid ox fuel cells, high-energy secondary chemical cells, new biofuels cells, photovoltaics, flue gas denitrification, and to undertake applied development and engineering of the results of scientific research。

Introduction to the beijing focus laboratory for nanophotology and super precision photoelectric systems
The laboratory, based on the institute of physics and the faculty of optical electrics, has developed and developed the scientific and technological fields of micro-photo-material materials and devices, guided by the vital needs of the country and the city of beijing, and has carried out studies on the theoretical and experimental problems of the interaction of photo-materials in micro-photo-material materials and devices. The core research work has been the design of new nano-optic electronics principles and the development of nano-optic electronics units, which have contributed to the innovative development of nano-optic electronics in our city。
Introduction to the beijing city centre for technical research on cellulose and its derivatives

On the basis of the institute of materials, the engineering centre has as its main research direction the development and promotion of common technologies for the development and engineering of cellulose and derivative materials such as biomedical food-grade celluloses and their derivatives, petroleum paper construction materials and their derivatives, as well as for the development and application of fibres and their derivatives in aerospace photovoltaic information, and for the conservation of the energy in the production chain。
