1. The diameter of the roller shall be 10 to 20 per cent greater than its natural inner diameter。
2. For maximum extension, a layer and a half shall be retained on the cylinder。
3. The steel belt, which becomes unstable when extended at long distances, shall be guided in order to prevent distortion or twisting in reverse。
4. The diameter of the inert wheel shall be greater than the natural diameter and shall not be used to cause a reverse bend relative to the natural curvature radius。
