From 10 to 16 july, the 33rd national energy conservation awareness week was held under the theme “cross conservation, you and me”. 12 july was the eleventh national low-carbon day on the theme “actively addressing climate change for green low-carbon development”. In order to spread low-carbon environmental knowledge and promote the concept of green development, the regional eco-environment agency entered institutions, communities and schools and carried out a diverse campaign on the theme of low-carbon living。
On 12 july, the energy-saving week and the national low-carbon day home in the rainbow region was launched in building 1 of the district government to promote the concept of a low-carbon life for cadres, learning new knowledge and methods of saving and reducing carbon, and developing a green low-carbon lifestyle through a thematic exhibition on energy conservation, the signing of the “three actions” initiative and an environmental-saving knowledge contest。

New low-carbon energy-saving technologies and new ideas were presented on the thematic panels from a variety of perspectives, including renewable energy use, zero carbon construction and low-carbon mobility, to increase understanding and awareness of low-carbon technologies. The “three actions” initiative, the “cd-rom action initiative”, the “low-carbon action initiative”, the “life waste classification initiative”, is followed by the signing of its name on the initiative's bookboard。

Under the theme “cross conservation”, knowledge contests were set up at the site, covering energy conservation, water conservation, green offices, and household waste classification. Questions and answers on energy conservation and environmental protection are used to further raise awareness and knowledge among cadres about energy conservation and emission reduction, and to compete as practitioners and promoters of low-carbon livelihoods。

In order to promote the concept of green low-carbon for residents of the bailiwick, in response to the call for waste classification and resource recovery, the new village street of cool city offers “green low-carbon, energy-saving” science lectures to primary school children in community schools, and a dey painting competition on the theme of low-carbon environmental protection, so that the seeds of low-carbon living ideas take root in the minds of young people. In the new neighbourhood of the street of the midway, volunteers use the garbage classification game to teach residents about waste classification, share low-carbon life tips and promote green lifestyles。

The relevant head of the regional eco-environment agency said that low-carbon life starts with every small thing. In the future, through more thematic campaigns, green lifestyles will be promoted, a strong climate of low-carbon energy conservation will be created, a social culture of economy and efficiency will be promoted and a positive contribution will be made to building beautiful rainbows and promoting green, low-carbon and high-quality development in the economy and society。
