China intellectual property research society has created two additional professional committees
On 18 december, the 7th and 5th standing councils of the china society for research on intellectual property (hereinafter referred to as the council) were held in beijing. The establishment of a professional council on intellectual property and a professional commission on intellectual property certification at universities was announced。

Zhao, member and deputy director of the national intellectual property agency, stated at the conference that the institute would strengthen its position, firmly adhere to the leadership of the party and seriously plan and carry out its work; strengthen its service awareness and serve the broader development of intellectual property; and strengthen its brand awareness and work to build a high-level intellectual property think tank。
It was stated that the newly established professional commission on intellectual property in universities would focus in the future on strengthening basic theoretical research in the field of intellectual property rights, promoting intellectual property discipline, optimizing intellectual property talent development, promoting the transformation of innovation in universities, promoting cultural exchanges in intellectual property rights and improving intellectual property management capacity and intelligence in universities。

The professional commission on intellectual property accreditation will focus on theoretical and practical research on intellectual property identification, the development of relevant standards for the promotion of intellectual property identification, the organization and development of specialized institutions and professionals in the field of intellectual property identification, the development of mechanisms for the exchange of intellectual property theory and practice, and the active exploration of the direction of industrial development。
The director of the institute stated that the world economy was currently undergoing a new wave of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation and that intellectual property research was facing unprecedented new situations, opportunities and challenges. To this end, the next step of the conference must be to maintain the leadership of the party and to continue to push for further progress in efforts to provide stronger intellectual support for the intellectual property industry in china。

The session was attended by 22 vice-presidents, 56 permanent members, 161 members and nearly 300 participants, including candidates to be re-elected to the council。
