Over a year after the kidnapping, the elevators in the building are still out of surveillance
In june last year, two men after 95 agreed to rob for money and to target a single woman. As they stepped on it, they found that most of the surveillance in the vicinity of a building in a small district of the woman's home was poor, that there was no surveillance in the elevator and that the crime was “safe”。
On the night of the incident, two men abducted a woman in an elevator in the district, took her to a remote room on the top, demanded a ransom of $500,000 from her husband and subsequently killed her. One of them explained that he had previously robbed a woman in the same district in the same manner。
A year after the crime occurred, yesterday afternoon, journalists returned to the area of the incident and found that it was located outside the three southern rings, a large community. Apart from the main road, which has surveillance equipment, the rest of the area, such as the perimeter of residential buildings, is not monitored. There are also no dedicated cameras in front of the subsector units。
There were five units in the residential building where the kidnapping occurred, of which only two were fully secured and the rest were freely accessible. There was no surveillance from the gate to the elevator. No cameras were installed in either elevator. There was no surveillance in the building. The situation is essentially the same in other units, where no surveillance equipment is available。
A reporter from the legal evening newspaper (law evening msid:fzwb 52165216) called the community property. Staff described the lack of a planned camera line in the sub-district at the beginning of its development and, as a result, there were no conditions for installation. Yesterday, journalists visited various neighbourhoods in different grades, such as front line international, the east heng era, the capital court, the home of the quayuan, the upland garden, the city of flowers, etc., and found that most of the gates and elevators were monitored, but most of the buildings, safe passages and water surfaces were blind。
There are electronic eyes at the door, and most of the buildings are unmonitored
Access to the first-line international zone found that there were two entrances to each unit of the sector, with “electronic eyes” above it. Elevator surveillance cameras can see some images inside the elevator car and at the door. Apart from this, no surveillance cameras were found in the building's entrance on the floor, nor were any surveillance in the vicinity of the two elevators inside the building。
According to staff of the international property company, only one layer of access and elevator control in the sub-region is currently available, and the rest of the floor is not available because of the closeness between the household and the household, which, if installed, may infringe upon the privacy of the owner。

In most of the subdistricts, elevator doors on every level are located next to the entrances of the fire escape corridors, which are also a compulsory route to home. However, fire escapes are narrow and the lights are dark and easy to hide. The entrances to and within the safe passages in most of the sub-regions are not monitored。
The first-line security passage on the 9th floor of the international section is the machine room. Journalists found that the stairs leading to the room were not monitored, including in front of the door。
When journalists visited the small town of flowerville, ms. Wang, who lived in building 12, said that she was worried when she came home every evening to pass through the water surface。
The building is a tower with water surfaces and weak electrical cells on each floor, which are large enough to accommodate two adults. Although there are door locks between the water surface and the weak electrical booths, they are not locked and can often be opened owing to the frequent opening of gates or maintenance by the occupants of the buildings. In particular, the power grid is located near the corner, and it is not easy to detect it if it is not hidden by the illegal elements。
As a result, ms. Wang is very vigilant when she comes home every day: “my door is very close to the weak electric room, and every time she passes here, she has to observe it for a while, afraid of hiding the bad guys inside and attacking from behind”。
The cameras are good and bad
In unit 5 of zone 1 of liu's home, located in the south, journalists found that there were no cameras either on the road or at the door. Despite the installation of cameras in the two compartmental elevators, the red led light in one of the elevator cameras was not activated, indicating that it was not operational。
One resident told the journalist that his camera and computer had been stolen from his room and that when he went to the control room to retrieve the video, he found that the camera did not work properly and therefore did not obtain effective leads. According to the resident, the surveillance in the elevators was good and bad and was very insecure。
Follow-up, pre-design and retrofitting funds are an obstacle to adding surveillance
