Recently, the centers for disease prevention and control of anhui province announced the results of the campaign to raise awareness of tuberculosis among millions of volunteers in anhui province in 2024. Our team of volunteers from the youth health association emerged from 112 university volunteer teams across the province and successfully joined the provincial volunteer corps. At the same time, in 2025, the institute was awarded a second special grant for a two-fold breakthrough in honour and support, following the selection of a group of volunteer students for the development of a multimillion volunteer tuberculosis awareness campaign in anhui province。

Behind this achievement is the careful guidance of the school council and the school hospital, as well as the tireless efforts of the members of the association. With the recruitment of university students at the centre, the association has set up professional and efficient volunteer teams, continued health education at the tertiary level and organized more than 50 health education campaigns each year, serving as the backbone for the dissemination of health information in schools, with a number of honours at the provincial and municipal levels。
Since its establishment, the association has designed and implemented a series of distinct thematic activities focusing on the theme of health and focusing on tuberculosis prevention and treatment and reproductive health advocacy. Teacher-student health education is promoted in all its aspects through lectures on topics, theme healthy running, youth healthy classroom series, hiv awareness contests, peer education activities, etc. In addition, the association has been conducting campaigns on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases at important time points, such as the world's high blood pressure days, eye-friendly days and smoke-free days, resulting in a health education matrix covering the year。

Schools have always adhered to the concept of “pupil-based, child-centred and responsible” and have integrated health education into the teaching process.
