Step one: guys need to be ready, old and new

Step 2: entry checks
The door is the face of the home and the first line of defence. Let's see if there's any scratches or bumps on the door. Repeat the switch and hear the noise. Cat eyes, door locks. Keys are unplugged。

Steps 3-4: wall, ground inspection
Take out your empty drum hammer (or thermal imager) and look at the wall and the ground as a “scan”. The focus is on the wall and beam connections, the corner of the wall.
