How did the key lock

Usually, we insert the key into the lock, and then rotate it at a certain angle, and it opens the door more easily, but what happens inside the lock when we do a simple re-key move
The bullet lock is usually a barrel structure, and the outer lock core is a fixed part of the outside lock, inside which the inner cylinder lock core can be rotated。
In general, there are several upper and lower bullets of metal in the inner lock core, which are pressed into the inner lock core under the power of the spring in the outer lock core. Only when a matching key has been inserted, the bullet is pushed through the key cog, and the lock is stopped at the position of the cut wire (also called the cut point), at which point the lock core is no longer stuck; the key-led lock core rotates, which leaves the lock beam unblocked and starts and locks are unlocked; then the key is pulled back to the initial position as the lock core rotates, the key is pulled out, the bullet is dropped again and the lock core is unable to move。
