The name tungus may have been heard by many friends, and there are indeed groups in this world that are classified as tungus, that is, some that speak the tungus language in the past and modern times. But when it comes to who the tungus are, it may not be clear to many friends. So today we'll talk about the evolution of the tungus。
First, while the modern term “tungus” is not too problematic for the linguistic groups that speak tungus, the term “tungus” is not derived from the various ethnic groups that speak tungus. The origin of the term is also not conclusive at this time, with some views suggesting that it originated from the term “east hu” in the goohan language, or that it originated from turkic. However, whatever the origin of the term, it is actually used to refer to the tungus-speaking ethnic group because of the russians。
Shortly after the russians arrived in the far east from europe, they began to refer to the toungus-speaking orenks as tungus. Why did they call the o'winke people so modern? Before the term was widely used, however, the use of the modern term “tungus” in the international academic community was also widespread, since the tungus-speaking communities did not have a common self-claim for themselves (the communities only refer to themselves or to other individual communities)。
Some modern, relative mainstream views suggest that the ancestors of the tungus community may have formed from the north-eastern part of the north-eastern part of the country to the region of lake begar, or the region surrounding the heilong river. However, because of the late appearance of words in the tungus ethnic group, the early history of the group is largely based on sporadic documentation in ancient hanese, as well as on the research of some modern linguists。
Some linguists have studied that, between about 500 b. C. And 500 a. D., tungus living in the far east may have spoken a common tungus language, which later was the language of the tungus communities. Some scholars believe that this language may be the one spoken by the ancient chinese group of the ridong hu, i. E. That donghu may be tungus, but this view is also more controversial。

On the whole, these communities are mostly modern in the north-eastern regions of china and in the russian far east, including the siber, the owenk, the owen, the hezche, the orencun, the ulchi, the oroch and the udge. Among these communities, the largest number of sibers is estimated at 190,000. Of course, the ethnic origin of the sibers is very uncertain, for example, there is a perception that “the siber” is another translation of “the low”, so they may be descendants of the young.
