I'm sure moms have a deep sense of what it's like to put their kids to sleep
No. 1: mommy's sweet
When my daughter rachel was three years old, i gave her a brother, and ever since that time, it had been a problem for her to sleep. One night, i lay with her in bed to help her sleep, and i took off my shirt and said to her, "come, sleep with your mother's shirt, and the mother will be with you all night." it's amazing how it works. Now, rachel picks out a t-shirt from my t-shirt drawer every night, and then the little guy goes to bed like he did。
No. 2: wake-up passes
Having a 4-year-old son sleep in bed is a big problem. Every 10 minutes, the son comes to us to see the wounds he imagines, to get a glass of water or to ask for another kiss, and so repeats. Finally, my husband made three “votes” for his son to use every night — a ticket every time he comes out of his room. So that the kid knows he can come out, but he decides when it's really important enough to run out. As a result, this has been very helpful to the son, whose demands for evenings have been considerably reduced and we can relax while sleeping。
No. 3: access to drinking water
If you don't have a table next to your child's bed, you put a water bottle on his bed top (the one on the window), so that a child can easily drink water if he is thirsty after he goes to bed。
No. 4: “sleep time” alarm clock
By chance, we found a very good way to put an end to the child's struggle before he went to bed, and my husband set his watch at 8:15 p. M., and the clock rings, and we said, “the alarm is ringing!” the child knew it was time to put on his pajamas and get ready for bed. Sometimes we race with kids to see who wears their pajamas first。
No. 5: establishment of incentive systems
To make it easier for the child to sleep, we hung a form on the door of the child's room. If the child goes to bed in good faith, then put a small star on his form, and when 10 small stars accumulate, the child can hear more at night。
No. 6: filled with mother's love
In order for the child to sleep in bed at night, i let the child choose a favorite filling toy to sleep with him. I'll hug the toys and give them a kiss. And then i told the kids i'd given the toys enough to enjoy mom's love for one night. If the child wakes up at night and feels like he needs me, he knows he can hold the toys tight and he can get a little love from his mother。
