Second, breast care and massage are used to stimulate milk distribution. Heat towels are used daily to wipe the breasts of cows, to keep them clean and to prevent infection. At the same time, breast massages of 10 to 15 minutes per massage have been carried out, with a soft push from the side of the breast to the direction of the nipple, which promotes the blood cycle of the breast, stimulates the development of the breast and increases the amount of breast milk. After the massage, the calf is expected to suck their nipples in time to further promote oxytocin distribution through sucking incentives。
Finally, the health management of cows must be strengthened to ensure that they are in good health. In the post-partum period, the cow is weak and less resistant, and care is taken to keep the cattle house clean and dry, with good ventilation and a comfortable environment. Heifer health checks are carried out on a regular basis, and diseases such as breast disease are detected to be treated in a timely manner in order to avoid a shortage of milk due to the disease.
