The most frequently asked as an led-shower is: "where are the hot micro leds now better than our traditional cattle?"
To sum up in one sentence: the traditional led screen is “building a house”, while micro led is “sculpting hair silk”. It made the original millimetre-grade beads microme (less than 100 micrometres, smaller than hair silk)。
This qualitative change in the physical dimensions has led to a number of subversive experiences:
No more resolution "marsake"
The traditional smd beads are extremely difficult to make small space below p1. 0 because of the size of the shell. Micro led removes the seal, welds the nudity chip directly on the baseboard, easily achieving p0. 4 or even smaller spacing. As it turns out, the p2. 5 screen can only be used for 1080 ps, and now p0. 9 can ease up to 4k, and the viewing distance reduced from a few metres to dozens of centimetres without a sense of particle, completely opening up the high-end conference rooms and the market for family cinemas。
“one to one” for brightness and utility
The traditional beads are covered with glue, like a light bulb with sand masks. Micro led naked cores come up with very high light efficiency — light is light above 5,000 dots, sunlight is still clear, and power consumption is more than 50 per cent below the conventional screen of the same brightness。
3. More pure black and longer life expectancy
The traditional screen is black when reflected in ash. Micro led is independently controlled by each pixel, and the black field can be completely closed, contrasting to a million to one. Adding the inorganic material properties, the non-burn screen risk can lead to a life of up to 100,000 hours and 7x24 hours of security monitoring without pressure。
It's cold water. It's real
The most painful point at present is cost and good rate. The traditional screen beads can be replaced with iron, and micro leds require specialized equipment for repairs. Large-scale transfer techniques are extremely difficult to guarantee a good rate of 99. 9999 per cent for millions of chips, resulting in current costs of 5-10 times the average screen。
Summary
Micro led is the ultimate form of the led screen — brighter, more subtle, more durable. While high prices are now suitable only for high-end or highly demanding scenarios, the trend is irreversible. As practitioners, it is recommended that the choice be based on project budgets and viewing distance rationally: regular outdoor advertising, rental screens, now smd or cob are still the best in terms of value; if the pursuit of extreme visual shocks and the budget is sufficient, it will go directly to micro led, and the result will be an absolute return to the fare。
