Chapter i general provisions
In order to further strengthen the administration of degree awards, in accordance with the regulations of the people's republic of china on degrees (hereinafter referred to as the regulations on degrees) (presidential decree no. 27 of the people's republic of china), the provisional measures for the implementation of the regulations on degrees of the people's republic of china (hereinafter referred to as the measures of implementation), the regulations on the administration of students at general higher education institutions (order no. 41 of the ministry of education of the people's republic of china) and the regulations on the administration of students at the university of finance, economy and law of china (for trial) (2017), the chinese-south china-south china-long-china-long-long-long-long-long-long-long-long-long-gong-gong (no. 116), in conjunction with our school practice, develop this approach ..。
The second is that any student in our school who is committed to the leadership of the communist party of china, who is committed to the socialist system, who is active in the construction of socialism, who is in compliance with the law, who is of good character and who has an academic level corresponding to that degree, may apply for the corresponding degree, in accordance with this scheme。
Article 3. An applicant cannot be awarded a degree if:
(i) the offence or political review is not qualified。
(ii) if he or she has been held in custody or twice or more, during the period of the disposition。
(iii) m. A. And ph. D. Students have not fulfilled the requirements of the development programme。
(iv) the average undergraduate achievement points did not meet the requirements。
(v) thesis does not meet the academic level of the corresponding degree。
(vi) failure to comply with the relevant provisions of the national degrees ordinance and its regulations。
Master's degree
(i) graduates who have completed their master's degree studies, completed the studies prescribed by this programme of professional development, submitted their degree thesis, were recommended by a mentor, approved by the college (centre) review, and reached the academic level of the master's degree in science and of the professional master's degree thesis through pre-drafting of the degree thesis and testing of academic misconduct, and applied for a master's degree to the school degree committee through the branch of the degree of the institution (centre)。
(ii) if a post-graduate post-graduate post-graduate degree is not awarded to an out-of-school establishment and an incumbent applies to my school for a master's degree, the provisions of this chapter shall apply, unless otherwise specified。
Article 10 master's degree programme
(i) subjects and requirements of the master's degree examination
1. Master's degree in political theory requires mastery of the basic theory of marxism and the socialist system of chinese identity。
2. One course in foreign languages requires a more skilled reading of the foreign language materials of the profession。
Basic courses of study, specialized courses and elective courses of specialization require a solid foundation of theoretical and systemic expertise。
(ii) the examination for the master's degree programme is subject to the above-mentioned requirements in conjunction with the preparation programme and is subject to review by the training units and graduate schools。
(iii) postgraduates applying for a master's degree must obtain the credits required by the programme before they can participate in the defence of thesis。
(iv) basic conditions for applying for a master's degree for equivalents
1. After completing the studies provided for in the training programme, pass the examination and pass the certificate。
2. Specialized comprehensive courses and foreign language courses are subject to national examinations。
3. Audited academic level showing master's degree and completed degree thesis, through systematic testing, evaluation and defence。
4. The two associate professors, professors or experts of equivalent title may apply for a master's degree by submitting applications for degrees, dissertations, etc., to the sub-committee for the assessment of degrees of their college (centre)。
Article 11 master's degree thesis
(i) basic requirements for master's degree thesis
The degree thesis must be done independently by the graduate students themselves, under the guidance of a mentor. Postgraduate studies should produce research programmes and introductory reports based on access to, and research into, a wealth of literature, which should be reviewed jointly by instructors and mentor groups。
2. Thesis of a degree in science should have new insights and have some academic or practical value in academic or nation-building. Demonstrate the author's ability to conduct scientific research or to perform specialized technical and operational work。
Thesis of a professional degree should strengthen its application orientation and encourage the use of a variety of forms, such as research reports, planning and design, product development, case analysis and project management; the selection of a professional degree should be based primarily on practical problems in social practice or work, with clear practical significance and application value. Its paper focuses on the ability of students to apply theory, methodology and technology in a holistic manner to solve practical problems。
3. The writing of a master's degree in science shall take not less than nine months from the date on which the subject is chosen, and the writing of a master's degree in science shall take not less than six months。
4. The preparation of the degree thesis must proceed as planned; the presentation of the paper is to be conducted with an introductory presentation, which will be composed of not less than three instructors。
5. The paper delivered for printing requires fine-tuning, structured and well-articulated text sheets。
6. Thesis of a master's degree in science is not less than 30,000 words, and thesis of a master's degree in science is in principle not less than 20,000 words。
7. The body of a degree thesis shall conform to the requirements of the law of the people's republic of china on the national language and text and use chinese to regulate the chinese word. With the exception of international students of the english language course, who are required to submit their english degree thesis under the programme。
8. The degree thesis should also be summarized in chinese and english. The summary is the abbreviation of the paper and should accurately reflect the full content of the paper and highlight new results and insights. The summary of the master's thesis in chinese is about 1,000 words。
(ii) the applicant for a degree shall submit a final and a dissertation summary and an application for a master's degree three months before the presentation of the paper. The instructing teacher shall review and fully evaluate the applicant's degree thesis and its abstract, and shall prepare a detailed academic commentary with an opinion as to whether he or she should be recommended for the defence of the paper. The colleges (centres) are responsible for carefully examining each application and signing opinions on whether they agree to participate in the defence of the paper。
If the directing teacher agrees to be recommended and the academy (centre) agrees to participate in the defence of thesis, it must, in accordance with the regulations, be able to defend its organization by pre-responding, testing academic misconduct and expert evaluation (including a double-blind review of no less than 30 per cent of the master's degree thesis), and submit the list of applicants for the degree to the graduate institute。
Article 12 work and procedure for the defence of master's degree thesis
(i) upon acceptance of the application for a defence by the sub-committee on the assessment of degrees of the college (cites), the college (cites) shall appoint three experts in the field of dissertation, one of whom shall be an expert from an out-of-school unit, to serve as a reviewer of thesis in the case of papers that are not subject to the procedure of double-blind evaluation. A mentor cannot be an opinion critic. The dissertation examiners write detailed academic comments within two weeks of the acceptance of the paper for the information of the respondent committee。
(ii) principles for handling the results of the paper reviews
The results of the expert review papers, which were qualified and above, were available to participate in the presentation。
In one case, the results of the expert evaluation were unqualified, and in the other two the average score was 75 and above, the degree office conducted the second double-blind evaluation of the paper (hereinafter referred to as “re-evaluation”). Qualified, participated in the defence of the paper for the year; the review was still not qualified and the paper had to be revised and the request for reply was deferred for six months。
3. Two expert review papers were evaluated as ineligible, subject to major revisions and a one-year delay in applying for defence。
If the evaluation results of all three expert reviews are unsatisfactory, the paper shall be re-opened and the application for defence shall be deferred for at least one year。
5. Documents that do not pass the double-blind review are subject to revision and re-approval in the double-blind review process before they are adopted。
6. The results of the two-blind reviews of degree papers are carried out in strict compliance with the provisions of the bi-blind review scheme for post-graduate degree thesis of the university of finance and economic law of south china。
(iii) composition and terms of service of the respondent committee
1. The experts of the committee for the defence of master's dissertations shall normally consist of three to five persons, of whom one must be a relevant expert from an out-of-school unit. In order to reflect the characteristics of the integration of the disciplines of my school or of the theoretical and the practical, a more theoretical dissertation committee must include an expert from a cross-college interdisciplinary or academic background. The committee for the defence of dissertations in more substantive disciplines and master's degree studies must include an expert with a high-level professional technical position in the field of practice outside the relevant industry. Out-of-school specialists are offered offers of employment by the colleges (centres) on behalf of the schools and are registered with their degrees。
2. The commission shall have a chairman, who shall be a professor, associate professor or expert of equivalent title, and a secretary to assist in the conduct of the proceedings. The instructors may be present at the session, but may not serve as members of the commission or, more importantly, as chairpersons。
The members of the commission and the reviewers of the papers shall normally be professors, associate professors or experts of comparable title. Lecturers with advanced academic qualifications may also act as respondent members, as approved by the school degree assessment committee, as postgraduate mentors. However, there can be only one lecturer per dissertation committee and one presenter per applicant. Experts from substantive departments outside the school should have more than five years of work experience in this substantive area, except that they should meet the basic conditions for cooperative mentors outside the school。
4. Within one week of the acceptance of the application for a degree, each house shall submit a list of the examiners of the dissertation, the respondent committee and its chairperson and file a copy of the degree. The list of commentators and the committee for the defence of dissertation shall not be previously communicated to the applicant and shall be made public at the session for the defence of dissertation. Each college shall appoint persons to communicate with the presenters and members of the committee for the defence of the papers. Applicants are not allowed to communicate directly with them before replying。
(iv) procedures for the preparation of dissertations
1. The applicant shall, within a specified period of time, submit to the sub-committee for the assessment of degrees of the college (centre) each of 10 papers and abstracts of the papers that have been printed。
2. The faculty (centre) degree awards committees distribute papers and abstracts of papers to the presenters and members of the commission no later than three weeks before the presentation of the papers。
Thesis shall be heard within the time limit set by the school. The applicant, the respondent committee and the person concerned shall be notified of the exact time and place of reply one week in advance, and shall file for the degree。
Article 13
(i) an applicant who has been authorized to participate in the defence of a degree dissertation shall be required to do so at the prescribed time and to waive his or her capacity to do so automatically in his or her absence without cause; if he or she requests a change in the date of reply owing to exceptional circumstances which prevent him or her from doing so, he or she may do so with the consent of the respondent and with the approval of the headmaster of the school. Its composition and procedures are governed by the provisions of article 12 of this formula。
(ii) the committee on the defence of dissertations must uphold the different standards set by the various disciplines, ensure quality, strictly maintain customs and preserve the reputation of degrees, in accordance with the different types of degrees. The various degree dissertations can neither be reduced nor wrongly requested and treated as scientific degree thesis standards。
(iii) the defence of the paper is democratic and open to academic opinion. The hearings are generally conducted in public and the persons concerned, both inside and outside the school, may be present. Subject to the concurrence of the chairman of the counter-terrorism committee, the observer may ask questions。
(iv) the defence of the papers shall be done on a case-by-case basis and shall be decided separately. The response time for each master's degree is normally not less than one hour; in principle, the number of persons who participate in and complete a full day's response for each committee must not exceed 10. The number of persons who, for exceptional reasons, need to be exceeded must be approved and registered in advance through the degree offices of the colleges (centres)。
The secretary shall normally keep a full electronic recording of the record. Electronic audio files are posted through the colleges (centres) for uploading or delivery of their degrees after the defence sessions have been completed。
(v) proceedings for the defence session
1. Opening of the meeting by the chairman of the commission。
2. Information on the applicant's studies and the conduct of scientific research, essay writing, etc., is provided by the mentor teacher or a member of the mentor group commissioned by the mentor teacher。
3. Introduction of the main elements of the paper by the applicant, highlighting his/her own insights and issues for clarification (not exceeding 30 minutes)。
4. Questions requiring a reply were raised by the commission with the applicant. Applicants may prepare their defence within a period not exceeding 30 minutes。
5. The applicant responds to questions raised by consulting the data and documentation allowed to enter the session; answers must be concise, concise and accurate. There are differences in academic views. The president may put an end to statements that fail to reflect and deliberately delay time。
6. Read out the academic commentary that guides the teacher's recommendations, the thesis reviewer。
7. The defence committee meets separately to consider the applicant's defence and holds a secret ballot on the admissibility of the paper and on the recommendation for the award of a master's degree, with the approval of more than two thirds, including two thirds, of the members. A member who is not present may not be entrusted with voting or by correspondence。
The commission prepares draft resolutions in reply to these papers and papers, which, with the agreement of all members of the commission, are signed by the chairman and communicated to the applicant。
Article 14: thesis of a master's degree is disclaimed to graduate students who, with the agreement of the dissertation committee, may, within one year, modify the paper with the approval of the committee for the assessment of the degrees of the press and school, once in the course of their duties, at the expense of the respondent himself; if the defence is not qualified, it shall not be completed。
Following the conclusion of the meeting, the secretary for defence filed all the written material resulting from the process of reply according to the applicant, examined whether the material was complete and whether the formalities were complete, and then referred it to the clac for review on a case-by-case basis and for a vote by secret ballot on whether to recommend the award of a master's degree, with the approval of more than two thirds of the members。
Article 16 all materials of the applicants to be adopted by the academy degree assessment sub-committees are submitted to the plenary of the school degree assessment committee for review and, if necessary, the colleges appoint persons to make presentations at the meeting upon request. A vote on the award of a master's degree shall be taken by secret ballot and adopted by a majority of the members。
Article 17. After the conclusion of the meeting of the school degree assessment committee, all lists and materials to be adopted are submitted to the degree office, which will report to the provincial education department, the ministry of education and the state council degree committee the relevant materials for the award of degrees to be filed and the corresponding diplomas issued。
