In order to effectively reduce the risk of high-level residential fires and increase the awareness of the population about fire and the ability to save their lives, the community has recently carried out high-level residential fire safety awareness campaigns to reach families。
Community workers posted easy-to-understand fire-awareness posters in areas with high mobility, such as entrances to and exits from sub-districts, block halls, publicity bars, etc. The day-to-day home visits are also used as an opportunity for proactive face-to-face interaction with residents to elaborate on daily fire safety. These include, inter alia, the right way to escape from high-level fires, family fire precautions, points of safety in the use of gas, and the safety concerns and proximity to life of residents, such as motor vehicle regulation of charging。
In response to the high-level residential fires, community workers have repeatedly warned residents that the elevator will be out of power at any time in the event of a fire, which is very dangerous, and that no one should use it, let alone jump blindly. In case of fire, it is essential that the evacuation follow the safe exit and evacuation stairs in an orderly manner. At home, they are also expected to develop good habits, perform “three clearances”, clean up kitchen oil, balcony and building groceries in a timely manner, go out, shut down gas, power, light fire, and avoid fire accidents in small detail。
In the context of regular inspections, irregular use of gas in the bailiwick and electric vehicle parking are the most common safety hazards. To this end, residents are informed of the safety risks and the relevant regulations: the use of gas must be regulated, the pipes must not be altered, the groceries should not be mounted on the pipes, problems should be identified in a timely manner and professionals should not be left to care for themselves. There is no room for electric vehicles or batteries to enter the building, and all dangerous acts such as parking the road, charging the room and charging the flight line must be firmly eliminated and the fire safety floor in the sub-districts secured。
As a next step, the community will continue to deepen fire safety promotion and screening and management of hazards in high-level residential buildings, continuously raise awareness of fire prevention and emergency response capacity and devote all its efforts to protecting the lives and property of the population in the district。
