Iii. Attendance
Participants may choose one of the following ways to respond to questions。
Online responses。
The contestants can answer the questions online through the xinhua financial channel or xinhua weibo。
2. Answer cards。
Tests and answer cards were published in newspapers such as china industry, china medical, china food safety, china times, international business, china business and industry, electronics and telecommunications, and mass science and technology。
The competition test booklets (with questions, flash cards, answers and reconciliations) are published with periodicals such as health, mothers and children, health care for the elderly, science for the mass, friends of science, health and life, health and nutrition。
3. Live responses。
The competitions are conducted in selected institutions of higher learning and in communities, among others, and the competitions are distributed in the field. The public can participate in events and respond to questions in situ。

Iv. Access rules
1. The contestants shall carefully fill in the answer card (or web page) with such information as their name, id number, telephone number, etc., for identification and contact purposes in preparation for the draw. A flashcard with incomplete personal information will be considered invalid。
2. A flashcard with incomplete answers will be considered invalid。
Each competitor will be allowed to answer only once and, if the same person has repeatedly responded to a question, the flashcard will be the earliest available and complete answer card。
4. The contestants need only cut the flashcard from the newspaper or test book or download it from the web (a valid copy of the blank flashcard)。
5. The answer card must be sent by 31 august (based on postmarks and cancelled after expiry) to box no. 16, no. 1, north beach, outside of deok-seong gate, hoyoyang district, beijing (eds. 100083). Participants are requested to indicate on the front of the envelope the words “the answer to the national general food safety competition”。
Awards
The competition is composed of 20 first prizes for a green base experience tour; 100 second prizes for a $500 prize; 200 third prizes for a $300 prize; and 500 prizes for a $100 prize. The competitions include several prizes for organizations of excellence, as well as for organizations that actively organize public participation in competitions. The prize was provided by cgiar。
The contest will be won from all contestants who meet the rules for participating, and the process will be notarized. The award for excellence will be evaluated by the organizers of the competition on the basis of their active participation in the competition。
Vi. Publication of awards
The list of recipients will be published in mid-september and late 2012 at the national food safety science science competition, the official microblogging (weibo) (http://weibo. Com/kepuzhishijingsai) and relevant media。
The organizers will hold the closing ceremony of the event in september 2012 to present certificates and medals to winners and institutions。
