01 select energy-efficient washing machine
Energy-efficient washing machines are 50 per cent more efficient than regular washing machines and 60 per cent more efficient in water. Energy-efficient washing machines can save approximately 3. 7 kg of standard coal per year, correspondingly reducing co2 by 9. 4 kg. If 10 per cent of ordinary washing machines are upgraded to energy-efficient washing machines each year, about 70,000 tons of standard coal can be saved and 178,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced each year。
02 reduce food waste
“whoever knows how to eat in a plate, it's hard to eat”, but the waste of food is still more serious. With 0. 5 kg of food wasted (in the case of rice), approximately 0. 18 kg of standard coal could be saved and 0. 47 kg of carbon dioxide could be reduced accordingly. If an average of 0. 5 kg of food is wasted per person per year, approximately 241,000 tons of standard coal can be saved annually and 612,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced。
03 promote low-carbon travel
(1) when travelling, promote the use of “135” travel programmes, i. E. One kilometre on foot, three kilometre on a bicycle, five kilometre on a bus, when weather is appropriate and time is sufficient, so as to reduce driving and fuel consumption。
(2) 9 litres of petrol per 100 km on cycling or walking in lieu of driving; 7. 5 litres of petrol in lieu of driving on a public bus, 200 km in the manner described above, correspondingly reducing co2 by 36. 8 kg。
04 rational use of air conditioning
(1) the summer air conditioner temperature is raised by 1 °c based on national promotion. If each air conditioner is raised by 1 °c above the 26 °c promoted by the state, it can save 22°c per year and reduce co2 by 21 kg。
(2) select energy-efficient air conditioners. An energy-efficient air conditioner consumes 0. 24 degrees of electricity per hour less than an ordinary air conditioner, with a conservative estimate of 24 degrees of energy saving and a corresponding reduction of 23 kg of co2。
(3) the air conditioner is off a few minutes in advance. The air conditioner was turned off three minutes before the departure, as the temperature of the air conditioner room was not increased immediately because the air conditioner was closed. A conservative estimate of approximately 5 degrees per year of power saving per station reduces co2 by 4. 8 kg。
05 rational use of television
(1) half an hour less television daily. Half an hour less per day, with about 20 degrees of power saving per tv per year and a corresponding reduction of 19. 2 kg of co2. If one tenth of the country's television sets are cut off by half an hour each day, the country will be able to save about 700 million degrees of electricity per year and reduce co2 by 670,000 tons。
(2) lower television screen brightness. Sets the television screen to a medium brightness that will achieve both the most comfortable visual effects and save electricity, saving about 5. 5 degrees per year per tv, correspondingly reducing co2 by 5. 3 kg。
Six, use the refrigerator to be energy-efficient
(1) select the energy-efficient refrigerator. One energy-efficient refrigerator saves approximately 100 degrees per year compared to the normal refrigerator, correspondingly reducing co2 emissions by 100 kg。
(2) reasonable use of refrigerators. Refrigerator opening times of 3 minutes per day can save 30 degrees of electricity in one year, resulting in a corresponding reduction of 30 kg of co2 emissions; refrigerators can be defunged in a timely manner, with a corresponding reduction of 177 kg of co2 emissions by 184 degrees per year。
07 deactivation of electrical appliances in due course
(1) the drinking water machine is out of supply. According to statistics, drinking-water machines are actually used for about nine hours a day, while at other times they are largely idle and nearly two thirds of the electricity used is wasted。
(2) the timely removal of household appliances plugs. Household appliances such as televisions, washing machines, microwave stoves and air conditioners continue to consume electricity on standby. If 390 million households in the country were to unplug the electricity, it would save about 2. 03 billion degrees per year and reduce co2 by 1. 97 million tons。
08 active participation in the planting of trees for all
One tree absorbs 18. 3 kg of co2 in one year, which is equivalent to a reduction in co2 equivalent emissions. If 390 million households in the country plant one tree a year, an additional 7. 34 million tons of co2 could be absorbed annually。
