In order to follow up on the spirit of the important instructions on the shaping of the chinese national community's awareness and the construction of religious work, and to further promote anti-secticular education and raise awareness among teachers and students at large of the need to combat evil, the senior police officer of the iton court of justice walked into the iton experimental high school to conduct a series of awareness-raising activities on anti-secticular law in schools, and shared his/her knowledge of anti-sectism with his/her classmates and students about the young future。
“do you know what a cult is, students? What is the essential difference between cult and legitimate religion? At the beginning of the campaign, the judge entered with a direct look at the core of the question, taking into account the real case in trial practice, and beginning with the definition of cults, their essential features, and the familiar ploy to analyze their “godly head, spiritual control, seduction”。
On the spot, the judge focused on the destruction of personal physical and mental health by cults, the plundering of family wealth and the destruction of social order, and led students to reflect and respond to questions in the context of “the ability of faith to cure the disease” and “the ability of cults to come to terms with what to do” and “the question of who to seek help from cult propaganda”. “don't listen, don't believe, don't speak, don't participate!” “report promptly to the teacher or the department concerned.” the students responded robustly and in a live interactive atmosphere, deepening their understanding of the dangers of cults in a single response。
At the end of the campaign, the judges issued a well-developed information brochure for teachers and students on anti-sect education, which contains clear information on the basics of anti-secticidal education, telephone calls and school helplines, making them readily accessible to teachers and students. The head of the school said: “young people are at a critical stage in the development of life stances and values, and it is time to warn against cults about education. We fully support the court's efforts to bring children to school with professional legal knowledge and living cases that will provide children with an intellectual vaccine for their youth.”
Juveniles are a key group in the resistance to cult infiltration, and the iton court has consistently adhered to the “preventive approach, prevention and integration” approach, and regularization of anti-sectism activities in schools. The event, which took the form of a “prosecution-interactive experience”, allowed the seeds of the rule of law to take root in the minds of young people, leading them to establish scientific beliefs and to stand at the bottom of the rule of law and to feel free from cults. The iton court will continue to deepen the education of young people on the rule of law, unite schools and families to build a firm anti-evil line and contribute to the building of safe schools and harmonious societies。
