During the 119th fire-awareness month, the city-wide fire-fighting environment has grown stronger. In recent days, the fire rescue brigade of the schozhou development district has entered the district school to conduct awards for students and excellent guidance teachers who have won awards at the city-wide summer fire safety general caricatures competition, in order to give practical recognition to the fire-fighting enthusiasm of young children and to deepen the effectiveness of fire-safety education in schools。
It is known that this summer fire safety cartoon competition for primary school students is co-sponsored by the schozhou fire rescue division, the city science and technology association, and the city education department, under the theme “i am a little fire safety promoter”, and attracts the active participation of teachers and students from primary schools throughout the city. During the summer, students took advantage of the drawings to bring together their knowledge of fire equipment, fire escape techniques and the “3rd and 3rd levels” of fire protection in their homes. Some of the works also vividly depicted the bravery of firefighters in the run-off, which is both general and child-rich. Following a professional review, 119 entries were screened from a mass of works, culminating in the selection of 10 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 23 outstanding mentors. Several school students and teachers in the district received honours。

On the ground of awards, fire rescue workers award each of the award-winning students a certificate of honour, paying tribute to the excellent guidance teacher, while, in conjunction with the award-winning cartoons, explaining the underlying fire-fighting knowledge in the popular language, encouraging students to continue to be “minor advocates” of fire safety, and bringing family attention to fire and safety. The students smiled with their certificates, saying that they would remember their common sense of fire and take the initiative to convey safety. These works not only show students' solid drawings, but also their profound understanding and unique interpretation of fire safety. The award was given in a lively atmosphere with pride and joy on the faces of the winners, who expressed their desire to continue to play their specialties and contribute more to the cause of fire protection。
The award was presented not only as a recognition and inspiration to the award-winning teachers and students, but also as an extension of the monthly science-based innovation of fire promotion. The aim of the fire-fighting campaign, “educate a child, lead a family, influence the society as a whole”, was further promoted through the creation of a school for fire safety by “painting the fire, promoting the promotion of prizes”。
