In order to ensure the safety, environmental protection, and bi-monthly activities of the company, to establish the theoretical foundations of safe production for all, to strengthen the capacity to screen for and respond to hazards, and to create a “safe, one-size-fits-all” working climate, on 5 june, the rulimu industry launched a competition for security information, which brought together 14 teams of representatives from workshops and functional units to conduct a joint exercise of professional and capable security expertise。
We're playing the same game
The members of the panel were director zhao toshio of the corporate protection service, director of the anghong hou chiun of the wood park and engineer xin kai fong of the ankang centre. The competition is broad in scope and is subject to the rules and regulations governing safe production, job procedures, limited space operations, temporary electricity use, fire safety, environmental management, accident prevention and so forth. The competition is based on the four main lines of “showing hands, scrutinizing points, working together to find one” and is based on a cumulative score system, which is divided by the on-site evaluators according to the correctness of the answers and the time frame for their response, with the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness throughout the process。
At the mandatory “show each hand”, the teams of delegates are steady and solid, with a solid pool of basic knowledge showing the effectiveness of daily security training; the “scrutinizing seconds” of responses is a test of response and team collaboration, and the pace of the race is strained; the “coherence” of risk is focused on comprehensive research capability and the selection of questions to be answered carefully; and the final “scrutinizing together” view is based on actual production on the ground, focusing on a line of risk detection and learning capability, with the evaluators identifying gaps and completing the link. The team has shown a strong security professional capacity and an upward spirit for company employees, and the field is much stronger than the atmosphere。
The winning list
After four rounds of hard-core competitions and a rigorous accounting score by the judges, the list of the winners of the competition was officially revealed: the material workshop was eventually awarded 240 points of good results; the equipment section, the decoration workshop, 185 points, 125 points, respectively; the storage section ii, the integrated materials workshop, and the osb line, 120 points, 110 points, 105 points, respectively. The event was accompanied by a live round of applause, in which the award-winning teams came to the stage to gain their honour. One of the prizes was both an award for hard-working safety and a microcosm of building a culture of safety in the wood industry。
The result translates into production effectiveness
In the competition intake stage, director-general hau myeongchun of the wood park gave a summary of the event. Hou ming chun recognizes the success of the competition and the outstanding performance of the teams involved in it. In conjunction with the company's production of practical safety controls, it requires all employees to use the competition as a tool to fill the gap in safety knowledge and to translate what they have learned into practical skills。
