Forklifts are not able to rise normally when carrying loads, usually associated with hydraulic system or mechanical structural failure. The following are common causes of failure and the corresponding maintenance steps:
I. Inadequate hydraulic fluids or oil quality
If the volume of oil in the hydraulic tank is below the tic line, or if the hydraulic fluid is emulsed and impurities are deposited as a result of long-term use, the pressure on the hydraulic system is insufficient。
Maintenance steps: first, check tank oil volumes and add the same type of hydraulic fluid to the standard scale; if the oil is of a bad quality, the hydraulic fluid will need to be completely replaced and the tank filter cleaned。
Ii. Leakage from hydraulic systems
Hydraulic fluid leaks that do not allow for sufficient pressure。
Maintenance steps: carefully examine hydraulic piping routes, interfaces and oil tank surfaces to see if there are oil trails. Reconfirmation of loose links; replacement of same-specified seals in case of damage to seals; professional repair or replacement of tanks in case of cracks。
Hydraulic pump failure
The wear and tear of the internal piston of the manual hydraulic pump, the debarment of the one-way valve card or the failure of the spring can lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the pump or the inability to pump the oil。
Maintenance steps: dismantling hydraulic pumps, checking whether the piston surfaces are worn, whether the one-way valves are blocked with foreign objects and whether spring elasticity is normal. The wear and tear parts need to be replaced and the remaining parts of the card are cleaned and reassembled with alcohol。
Iv. Liquipment or destruction
A piston inside the tank bends, leads to a wear and tear, or has an alien in the tank, which hinders the normal stretching of the piston。
Maintenance steps: forklifts are reduced to a minimum position, tanks are removed for sale by connection to doors and pistons are removed for inspection. Aligning or replacement is required in the case of bending; direction of wear and tear is replaced with new items; and reassembly after cleaning the interior of the tank and coating the appropriate amount of lubricant。
Safety valves fail
Safety valves in hydraulic systems are set to be too low or to slow the core of the valve, which results in automatic discharge of the system pressure and cannot drive the heavy weight up。
Maintenance steps: location of safety valves (usually on hydraulic pumps or multiple valves), check whether the adjustment screws are loose and re-integrate the pressure to the specified value; if the valve core card is detached, removed and cleaned and reloaded。
Care needs to be taken in the maintenance process to ensure that forklifts are parked smoothly prior to operation, that power sources are cut (the manual forklift needs to release hydraulic pressure), and that appropriate tools are used to avoid damage to components as a result of forced dismantling. If self-maintenance is difficult, it is recommended that it be addressed in contact with professional maintenance staff。
