Seminar on basic education knowledge mapping held in kyoto

On 24 may, a basic education knowledge mapping seminar, organized by the national engineering laboratory for education of smart technologies and applications of the internet and co-sponsored by the scientific engineering research office of the university of tsinghua, was held at changping campus of beijing teacher training university. The meeting focused on how basic education knowledge mapping works for open, personalized learning in the area of internet-based smart education and launched the basic education knowledge service platform。
The meeting was based on an online integration approach, involving experts such as chen yunlong, deputy director of the centre for the development of textbooks in basic education of the ministry of education, vice-president of the institute of curriculum materials, wang yunchun, professor, faculty of computers, qinghua university, principal vice-president of the institute of artificial intelligence, and sam song, member of the european academy of sciences, zhang yuzheng, director of the institute of software, university of nanchang, professor at beijing teacher training university, director of the national engineering laboratory (cit) for the smart technology and applications of internet education, yuan huai, vice-president of the institute of digital education of the people's press, xu bin, associate professor of computers of the university of qinghua, co-director of the laboratory for the analysis and modeling of cit, wang zhichhun, vice-president of the institute of artistics and smarts of the university of beijing, and wang xian xian, associate research fellow at the institute of creative design, university of nanjing university, xian xian xian, vice-profe the seminar was moderated by prof. Lee yanyan of beijing teacher training university。
Deputy director chen yun long elaborated on the value of the work of the national engineering laboratory for future digital education in china and outlined a blueprint for the future development of the digital education industry, in terms of educational models and methods adapted to future economic and social development, the significance of internet intelligence education for the great revival of the chinese nation in the digital age, and how information technology and smart technology meet the demands of educational reform。
Professor sun mao song highly values the basic education knowledge mapping and the basic education knowledge service platform. In his view, knowledge mapping needs to be geared towards the issues that need to be addressed in basic education, developing more practical closed-ring products, targeting user core needs and effectively reducing the burden on teachers and students. He suggested that r & d work could start with an attempt at individual functionality from a particular subdivision. The basic education knowledge service platform is to provide at least one discipline with high-quality mapping content and fully open data to promote industry consensus and development in this area and the establishment of relevant normative standards。
President yuji zhang acknowledged the findings of the basic education mapping and basic education knowledge service platform and shared experiences on cost control in the construction of the knowledge mapping. He described the work of the university of nancai in fast building rough knowledge maps based on internet data sources, noting that rough knowledge maps had low-cost advantages and had good application value in areas such as knowledge classification。
Professor wong said that it was important to construct a basic education knowledge map that offered computers the possibility of realizing cognitive intelligence in the field, making computers virtual teachers or learning partners with basic education knowledge. The application of basic education knowledge mapping techniques in the area of internet-based intelligence education will not only involve knowledge search, knowledge snapshots, knowledge questions and answers, but will further extend to research areas such as artificial intelligence + teaching materials。
Associate professor xu bin provided detailed information on the research and development background of the basic education knowledge map, the significance of research and development and the process of research and development, as well as the current application of the map to the ground. He stated that the launch of the basic education knowledge service platform would contribute to research development in the field of basic education and provide an important reference for standard-setting in the area of basic education knowledge, as well as platform support and testing standards for future laboratory applications。
At the workshop, the guest audience witnessed the launch of the basic education knowledge service platform (open. Edukg. Cn). The platform's main researcher, chen akiyang, an engineer at the faculty of computer engineering of the university of tsinghua, demonstrated its main functions on site. The basic education knowledge service platform will provide standardized and structured basic education knowledge mapping and application cases, assist researchers in basic education knowledge engineering in the construction of mapping and the development of related applications, and optimize their own mapping data using the developmenter's feedback to inform the development of technical standards for knowledge mapping in basic education。
Prof. Yingyan li presented the development and application of the current “study of poetry” and looked forward to its future development. Experts also engaged in adequate exchanges and discussions on the application of basic education knowledge mapping, content optimization, product transformation and the functional improvement of basic education knowledge service platforms, service upgrading, product development, working mechanisms and industrial ecology。
