On 28 january, in order to effectively raise awareness of traffic safety and self-protection among the elderly in the community, to effectively prevent and reduce road traffic accidents involving the elderly, and to secure road safety lines for the movement of the elderly population, the yiuzhou traffic police force, the law school, and the tung jia river brigade civil police, together with the cadres of the filial community, launched a special awareness campaign on traffic safety for the elderly in the community and in the early towns of the community, in order to ensure safe passage for the elderly friends of the community。
The older population is the focus of road traffic safety, with slow and slow physical features that expose older persons to increased transport risks in travelling. Through face-to-face presentations, case presentations, the distribution of brochures, customized information kits, on-site responses to queries, the campaign broke down the traffic safety points around the day-to-day travel of older persons, such as walking, riding electric bicycles, driving by car, etc., explaining common knowledge of traffic regulations, correcting dangerous behaviour such as red lights, not taking zebra lines, riding without helmets and travelling in non-operational vehicles, and bringing practical safety knowledge to the elderly。
In conjunction with the case of old traffic in the bailiwick, the civilian police conducted an analysis of the causes of the accident in a language that is easy to understand, intuitively sensitizing older friends to the dangers of traffic habits and bearing in mind the guidelines for “slow walking, looking at and observing”. There is also an awareness-raising campaign for older friends on the use of emergency traffic accidents to alert them to the need to ensure safe travel of older persons in their homes, and to work together to establish dual transport safety lines for older persons。
Traffic safety is the cornerstone of later happiness. The campaign, which included the distribution of more than 150 copies of information materials and the education of more than 120 people, was designed to give every elderly friend a sense of traffic safety, to observe traffic laws and regulations, to reduce the risk of travelling from source to source, to strengthen traffic safety lines, to make the travel of older friends in the community more comfortable and comfortable and to truly protect the “silver times” of every old person。
