On the surface of the aluminium alloy cast, the needle mark (or topprint) is the necessary mark left by the pin when the product is demodelled. It may be acceptable for ordinary structural components; however, for parts with stringent appearance requirements, a visible, abrupt pin mark may be an aesthetic “impairment”. Clients often ask, “can these traces be contained or even hidden?” the answer to this is yes. Through systematic model design, process optimization and precision production, we can precisely control the position of the top pin marks and optimize their appearance so that they either “invisible” in non-physical terms or become subtle, flat and consistent, thereby meeting the extreme demands of the high-end product view。

I. The challenge of needle marks: why is it difficult to control
The pin is an essential part of the mould for lifting the casting from the mould after cooling the product. The presence and visibility of the pin marks depend primarily on:
Location selection: if set on the main appearance, it necessarily affects beauty。
2. Optimum balance: an imbalance in the ability to contribute or a lack of synchronization in the action of the penetrator results in an excessive local stress of the product, resulting in a clear dim or condensation of the pin。
3 mods and process state: the depth and shape of the pin marks are affected by the gap between the pin and the mold, the degree of wear and tear, and the parameters of the casting process (e. G., pressure pressure protection, cooling time)。
Ii. Systemic solutions for male promotions: prevention and optimization
Through a combination of fists, we have transformed the pin marks from “problems” to “controlled process characteristics”。
First move: forward-looking layout and "invisible" design
This was the most critical step in the early design of the mould. The male-to-pentine mould engineer communicates fully with the client, identifying the face of the product and its non-physical (or functional, masked)。
Priority non-physical: we do everything we can to place all the pins in the non-face, to strengthen the bottom of the band, in the dent or in the area that will be fitted to cover, and to achieve “visibility” from the source。
Optimizing top-pumping: through mechanical analysis, a balanced and symmetric top layout is designed to ensure smoothing of the top-out process and to avoid further deformation of the product or increased pin marks due to concentrated local stress。
Second move: precision manufacturing and detail optimization
The processing precision of the molds directly determines the microform of the needle marks。
• precision of the pin and the glass: the male to the gold uses a high-quality pin and ensures, through precision processing, a very small and even gap (usually within 0. 02 mm) between the pin and the molded frame. This is effective in preventing metal fluids from drilling into niches to form “flying edges”, thus avoiding ugly rings around the pins。
The top pin is specially processed: for a pin that cannot be avoided on the surface, we can design its end with a small dent or texture. The needle marks thus left are no longer a flashpoint on the smooth plane, but are part of the overall texture and become less visible。
Third move: precision control of process parameters
The stability of the production process is key to ensuring consistency in the top marks。
Optimizing voltage and cooling: male-to-pent gold reduces the back-tightness of the cape by ensuring that the casting is fully constricted and compacted within the module through precise pressure pressure and time-sets. At the same time, sufficient cooling time ensures that the foundry is sufficiently strong to be lifted to prevent the penetrators from falling deep due to the softening of the product。
Stable penetrator system: we regularly maintain the top-out structure of the mold, ensuring that all needle actions are synchronized and smooth, and avoiding any additional traces of tardiness or lack thereof。
Iii. Power of the male to the gold: how can it be managed
Full autonomous modelling development capability: the male-to-pent gold range from the design of the mould to the production of the full process autonomy, ensuring a precise transformation from the design intent to the physical mould, which is the basis for the fine layout of the top position。
The wealth of dfm experience: with 21 years of experience, our engineers have been able to anticipate the challenges of top-key design at the product design stage and optimize product structures by communicating with clients in advance, creating better conditions for “invisibility” of the top pin。
Data-driven process systems: a database of mature process parameters of male-to-pent gold that can quickly match the optimal top-out parameters of different product structures, reduce test errors and stabilize quality。
Concluding remarks
We're looking for the art of manufacturing. Control pin marks are an expression of our precision in product details. Through systematic mould design, precision processing and stable process control, we convert the inevitable mark of the manufacturing process into controlled, minimalized and even subtlely hidden details. The choice of the male to the gold means that your stringent demands on the quality of the product will be met by a partner with a deep technological build-up and a high degree of ambition. We are committed to making each product not only reliable, but equally impeccable。
