National standard for casting terminology (1998 edition)
The development of the national standard gb5611-1985 casting terminology began in the early 1980s and was approved for publication in november 1985 and implemented on 1 august 1986. Over the past decade, the standards have played a major role in the production, testing and sale of castings, the preparation of technical documents on casting standards and techniques, the preparation of casting teaching materials and tools, the management of cataloguing of documentation, and the exchange of foreign technical and economic trade。
With the development of new technologies, processes, materials and equipment in the field of foundry, a number of more sophisticated new casting terms have emerged in recent years and are frequently found in a number of foundry technical documents and foundry literature. In order to guide and regulate the use of new terms, they should be supplemented by specific and precise definitions, and deficiencies in the preparation of the original standards, the structure of the classification of terms, the definition of terms, etc., should be revised so that the standards of casting terms could be adapted to the development of contemporary casting terms, ensuring their scientific, practical and time-sensitive nature. The revision of the gb5611-1985 " casting terminology " , under the responsibility of the shenyang castery institute, took two years to complete at the end of 1997 and was approved by the national agency for quality and technology oversight on 31 july 1998 and implemented with effect from 1 july 1999. The new national standard is named casting terminology。

This standard sets out the basic terms and definitions of casting raw materials, casting alloys, casting processes and casting equipment. A total of 1254 basic terms were adopted for casting and closely related to foundry, of which 566 were retained from the original standard and 688 were added. The classification of terms was changed from the original standard of 10 to 8. This standard pricing: $75/book (including postage)。

Cast metal genetics

Brief description: the basic concept of genetic phenomena during foundry is discussed, revealing the physical and chemical basis and process influences of metal genetics. In the case of intermediate alloys such as altib and alsr, genetic phenomena in fine-tuning and preparation were described; genetic patterns of casting defects were analysed and new casting processes using improved genetic properties of metals were introduced. The book is available in metallurgy, materials science, materials engineering, etc
Information for engineers and technicians, as well as scientific and technical workers, and for students and students of higher education institutions. The book priced 2512-08-07############2012-08-07########## #2012-08-07################
