In recent years, under the careful guidance of the provincial housing offices, the city has been following a general approach of “scientific planning, adaptation, increased investment and accelerated construction”, and has mobilized public awareness and community-building. The greening of the roof refers in general to the general designation of gardening and planting of flowers in the top of all buildings and structures. The roofs, which are the city's buildings, be they iconic large public buildings or residential houses, are the nearest human environment; they are also the “windows” that display the level of greening of buildings and gardens, the image of cities and the promotion of the national culture of the motherland, and have been included in the country's “1155” green building innovation and urban greening projects to control atmospheric pollution. The greening of roofs is of paramount importance for increasing the area of green land in cities and creating green spaces for humans; reducing the damage caused by waste gas pollution, thermal island effects and dust storms, and improving the deteriorating environment for humans; reducing human destruction of nature and improving ecosystem cycling effects; retaining some precipitation and reducing the pressure of high-intensity precipitation on urban flood drainage and drainage systems; and heat insulation to achieve energy-saving reduction targets. At present, most of the country's urban roofs are green or condensed lawn, and the common features of plant material used are shallow roots, infertiles, drought-resistant landscapes, as well as flowers and chicken-crowding plants that are suitable for growth on the roofs. The greening of roofs in economically less developed areas such as han is still in the conceptual promotion phase, and there are many technical challenges in the specific greening implementation that need to be addressed further, such as water protection problems, plant selection and conservation, planning principles and load problems, and some old public buildings and sub-district roofs do not have green bearing conditions at all。
The initiative to promote the greening of the building roofs of the main city of hanchong city will be a new breakthrough point for the greening of our cities in the future. Effective promotion and implementation of the greening of han's roofs will require the collaboration of the relevant departments. In the first place, the living environment is provided, and such problems require proactive behaviour on the part of the planning department vis-à-vis the development enterprise, requiring it to implement the technical requirements involved in the greening of the built roofs in a reasonable manner.
